Just a quick question, by IIWW do you mean World War 2 aka WWII?

They didn't fight mounted (they were fully exposed and any machinegun could easily clear the whole lot), they just rode the vehicles into battle and then dismounted and fought on foot.

Tankodesantniki were infantry units attached to tank companies. They rode on the tanks or moved beside them.

As for the feat I haven't seen one among the chase feats. The combat expertise feat represents the ability to take cover behind the tank to avoid bullets.

Red Devil: It takes a madman or a devil to jump behind enemy lines, luckily you’re the latter.

Why not alter it to read:
Red Devil: It takes a madman or a devil to jump behind enemy lines, luckily you’re both.

This is appropriate. We have Paras in the family (some of which fought at Pegasus Bridge) and i can vouch for them that they are indeed really quite insane.

S.A.S.? Honourless dogs and amateurs.

I am deeply offended, and so is my grandfather. They most certainly are *not* amateurs.  Wink

Not for me, you can't say that someone is mad if you don't know him. And I doubt that you've been there in 1944.

Sorry, didn't want to offend you. But this is the way the Brandenburgers saw S.A.S.:
Often they used captured equipment or disguised themselves as soldiers from the opposite side, sometimes including false identification papers, but unlike their allied counterparts, the Brandenburgers were very particular about donning another nation's uniform. This chivalric code, while perhaps rather anachronistic, required that men always wore their German uniform beneath the enemy's, and before combat. The men would hold fire until they made their own uniforms visible.

Ok, i think my sense of humour just went totally over your head, or did you miss the smiley?  Huh?

As for not knowing someone, i do. I said so in my last post. And so what if i wasn't there? I said i know people who were. Several of them. And as i said, they're all mad - fearless, psychotic old guys who'd fight the world if it looked at them funny.

Y'know what? Forget i said anything.  Undecided
