Yes, you can use multiple feats to gain Final Attacks. Just be sure that you're keeping track of all the penalties. (A -2 here, a -2 there, but those add up...)

I'd use Profession (Songwriter) or something, supported by the appropriate hobby, to make something creative. Live performances (such as actually singing that song) I would use Impress for.

Playing music, reciting songs, oratory, and drama (but not necessarily all acting) are all Impress/Preform. Impress is not a focus skill. Composition and writing are undefined, so we turn to the it's not covered by anything else skill, Profession (Appropriate Focus).

A combination of the Profession skill (professional level competence/training) and interests (hobby level).

I think the rule is that there is usually a trigger that gives you a final attack, but in most cases this trigger must come from a normal attack, not a final attack, but I don't remember for sure.

On that note, I remember someone way back when on the AEG boards who made a character specifically to see how many attacks he could get in a round. I think he ended up with 8...

Hate to revive a dead thread, but I felt it might be better than making a new one to ask this.

How are epic levels handled in spycraft? Are the rules from the d20 SRD in effect for that?

There are none. Characters go to level 20.
You could probably retrofit the SRD rules on if you wanted, and if I recall that's Crafty's 'recommendation' for doing something they don't recommend.

There was a thread about this, under the LSpy board if I remember. Sadly that's gone. Basically it amounts to Levle 20 characters have just silly levels of power. Bond, iirc, is only like level 15 or 17.

If by epic you mean thematically, taking the 20-level range we have now and adapting it to play, say, gods, then you're in luck - because the Godspawn setting portion of the Fantasy Craft toolkit will do just that. Smiley

I was wondering, because I just hate retiring a good character, you know?

I've always figured the simple solution to epic levels in Spycraft is to multiclass and keep going. I mean, there's only so much to learn about Soldiering before you start focusing on toting around SAWs (Grunt), branching out into vehicular combat (Wheelman), putting in some proper spy practice (Snoop), or whatever.  Grin

There's also been various houserules kicked around about letting you gain a second base class core ability once you've finished your first base class, and gaining a second expert class core ability once you've finished your first expert class and passed 20, too.

Ah, I see. Then no. We have no plans to go beyond Level 20. It would just be overkill.

Of course, you could just keep playing - with or without XP. Extrapolating class table extensions is fairly simple and with campaign qualities you could even continue to grow, translating XP directly into character options.

Overkill to who? What you speak of is opinion, not some qualitative fact.

I think it's the fact that Spycraft characters are kinda overpowered compared to other d20 systems. But yeah, if you wanna play epic games, then just fill out the xp table to level 30 (or 40, even) and add the "If you have 20/10 levels in a base/expert class, you gain the core ability from a second such class" feats. I've never played an epic game, but it sounds reasonable to me...

Well, seeing as it's the opinion of all the designers, it's also the direction of the game. It's what we've decided is best for Spycraft. YMMV, of course, and if you disagree you're perfectly welcome to add on as you like.

If you are gearing things up for over-20 play, don't forget you'll need to extrapolate all the NPC tables, too.
