Other Characters
Jason Morgan
A programming genius that "retired" in his mid-thirties. He has a nearly mad obsession with dinosaurs and is the chief source of funds for the park.

He is also one of the directors of operations for the park itself, using several of the tech breakthroughs his company created.

Antonio Black
The park vet and one of the researchers. He is a small and often whiny man, but is one of the top animal medical professionals as well as has some experience on paleontological digs.

Robert Mulwin
Ex-Military and former big-game hunter, Robert is the acting game warden for the Park. He often works with Antonio to decide which dinosaurs to retrieve for the primary missions.

Yep, that's where it's from

I'm planning an anti-team for the party to deal with soon.

Rather than gathering dinosaurs as the team is, they are going back to gather trophies for someone rich enough and high enough up politically that they'll have a hard time stopping the group. Not to mention this other group is willing to kill people if they get in their way.

I'm statting each of them out fully rather than using standard NPC rules.

One is a Soldier/Sniper and another is a Scout/Guide, I'm considering the others at the moment, but I want a group of 5, one of which is also the Rich guy on safari.

Just wondering which episode you're talking about.

Several just don't want to change because they'd enjoyed it far more than the times I'd convinced them to try 2.0 games. Others view 2.0 as to complex compared to similar games, so they never upgraded.

At times I also feel that 1.0 and 2.0 are almost to extremely different to be the same system.

I play 1.0, 2.0, and Stargate.

Several of my players are still refusing to upgrade to 2.0 and I still enjoy running 1.0 games such as my AvP game that has started up again recently though it has several Stargate things added to it.

I'm more interested in figuring out just how it would connect to building enclosures and designing them.

For my Park Builder game I keep wondering how to best handle construction as part of the game.

In the game I'm running they'll soon need to make temporary cages and the like for creatures to drag back and there is also the more perminant work on the park itself.

History
In 2025 the first stable time gate was designed and tested, it's use was heavily restricted after the initial tests and banned from unauthorized use while any military use of temporal technologies was outright banned.

The year is now 2031, Helix Technologies has petitioned and recieved limited use of a timegate for the purposes of establishing a zoo to study extinct animals in association with various universities and the World Wildlife Foundation after the son of the previous owner of the company took control and has a love of the natural world.

Various experts have been gathered for the capture and containment of animals that have not walked the earth for millions of years.

"Rules" Of Timetravel

1.) One may never come in contact with yourself, one may not participate in missions in the same area at the same time and area one has already been to.
2.) Make minimal changes, leave as few traces as you can
3.) Take all steps possible to prevent uncontained creatures from entering the timegate
4.) All items taken must be logged before and after use of the time gate.
5.) Each member of the group must carry at least one gate regulator for use.
6.) Gate Regulators are only to be used in emergencies.

I'm still working on my Park Builder game, its on a month long break fromt he actual game at the moment barring an occasional solo adventure.

I will end up reworking several parts of it when the season is done before I finish working on a completed version for others though.
