Bella pipes up with "Ello Erk! 'Ow's the horsie?"

Elsie grins. "Come on Tex, time to earn your keep!" The tiny brown chihuahua yaps at her in approval.

After greeting her friends, Bella sits quietly at the end of the table. She picks at her elevenses and periodically sips her drink. Now and again she raises an eyebrow at Gillion but she seems unwilling to actually talk to him. She seems quieter than the Bella you knew. "Now this is a nice evenin'... 'ow long d'yer reckon it'll be before someone comes along an' spoils it?" She smiles ironically into her beer. "No such thing as a quiet night these days..."

Elsie asks the sheriff for the following information:

How old were the children?

Do they have any pictures of the children?

Do they have a history of running off like this?

Can we speak with the parents about it?

Also, are there any known raider groups that operate in this area?

What the hell is 'the tangle'?

We once played Men in Black - it was fun for a few weeks, except one guy insisted on playing an alien. He was two feet tall, pink and furry... and permanently invisible.

I asked him "So how do you know what colour you are if you're invisible?" Neither he or the GM had an answer.

After reading the note, Elsie gasps and puts a hand to her mouth. "Those poor children! We should help them, Tex..." The chihuahua sits obediently at her feet, his tail thrumming out a beat on the floor as he looks up at her.

Elsie perches on the edge of a chair after no one hands her one, crossing her legs to one side and sticking her chest out looking intently at her interviewer. "My name is Elsie. I like puppies, flowers and the color pink. I'm very good with people and I can talk to practically anyone - i'm very persuasive! I'm currently single, and looking to fill that gap." She winks and grins.

When Bella receives Kyan's letter she has a mini party. By party, I mean she eats elevenses. After stuffing herself full of celebratory pie, she has a nice cup of tea and then packs her bags.

Travelling with a trade caravan moving between the Shire and Rohan, she parts company with them near Pellenor Fields. She travels along the old forest road through Mirkwood, completing the journey in one go so that she doesn't have to sleep in the spooky forest.

Eventually when she clears the wood, she makes camp on the banks of the River Running, and then follows it north across the lake of Esgaroth, and into Dale.

When she arrives, she makes a point of booking a room at a nice Inn, and then eating until she feels quite ill...

Erkenwulf has 96 rep (!) - want to spend some?

Certainly. I'm weighing up between grabbing some more ranks of Renown and a second Holding (my family's home).

You could beef up that hellabitch fort you've already got...

Elsie nods at his statements. "Yes, and probably." She smiles sweetly. "So, where do we go next, and who do we speak to?"

Step jabs and feints, weaving in and out of the thing's range as she looks for an opening. Her first serious attempt is easily turned aside, but the second is driven home, right through the hard meat's forehead.

Downtime: Prestidigitation; robbing the shit out of the Shire, to build her Rep (as a master thief of course...)

1d20+15=23

Aaaand since we can spend action dice: 1d6=5

BOO-YAH!

That's 48 rep?

Octonauts is awesome, though I do slightly prefer the books to the animated series.
My daughter however prefers the animations, so it's all good.

I have never found any of the books, our DS seems to prefer counting books atm.

[OOC: Can I spend an action die to kill the damn thing, if it's a standard character?]

Bella has been edited - she rocks! Hope no-one minds. I dropped that level of Explorer so now i'm just a pure Burglar. I used some stuff from the Adventurer's Companion too.
