[Nikita's final six-episode season is now official]

In other news, Nikita's final six-episode season is now official.

SPOILER WARNING: Only read that article if you're current with the series. It blows the plot of this year's finale - airing this Friday - which was set up in last week's episode.

it saddens me to see nikita go. it was one of those shows that caught me off guard and i love it for it.

Bioware I am less sure about.

I wanna be optimistic, I really do, but I just don't trust any of those companies listed anymore - EA simply destroyed my faith in them (ME3, Dead Space 3 anybody?  Even BF3 was all style no substance, IMO.).  So while I want a proper KOTOR3, what I expect is something rushed, half assed, poorly written, badly balanced (EA requires MP, remember?) and released by the end of next year (at the latest).  Plus microtransactions and abusive DLC, which plagues all 3 of those studios recent titles).

Of course, a proper KOTOR3 should be handled by Obsidian - but this time without a ridiculously short dev cycle.

i enjoyed mass effect 3, all three dead space games were made with ea as the main publisher, and bf3 right now is my favorite fps, granted i did not care to the single player, but then again no battlefield before bad company had that. bioware made the first kotor, so i would like to see them back behind another. and while ea has done a lot of stuff to make people mad so have most publishers.

i think visceral would do better with 1313. no i would rather see a new kotor game from bioware since they were the first to develop the series.

Um.  EA & Bioware already did a Star Wars game.  An MMO in fact.

actually bioware is not owned by ea, they are a part of a partnership program but now owned outright. they worked with lucas on the old republic because of their experience with the kotor series. i do hope this relationship means we may get a true kotor 3.

also on the drm front it seems that ea has learned its lesson and has announced the sims 4 and it will not require an always on internet connection.

the problem with the alien franchise as a release is that may go for it as an action release when it needs to be a survival horror. the problem with that though is that most have forgotten how to make survival horror.
