35,700. Juuuust above the "most adults" range. Having two Scrabble loving parents plus lots of gaming experience helps. Reading lots helps too.

Do they actually need a size increase? Or could you get away with just giving them a con boost and Improved Stability?

I've been playing catchup with it and I'm about halfway through the second season -- it clearly benefits from the old double standard because there's no way a male character would get away with what Bo does, but it does bop along at its own happy pace, appeals wildly to my inner 90s White Wolf fanboy, and I do love Kenzi and Hale because the sidekicks are just as important as the leads, and Dyson does brood so handsomely.

Perhaps unsurprisingly I've got a huge hankering to play some Changeling: the Dreaming now (I also own the nWod version of the game but have barely read the core book so I don't know how similar to its forebear it is).

The Lost is fairly different from the Dreaming. The biggest changes are in tone and character origins. Instead of being a fairy child that forgot his Fey heritage, you're a human that was kidnapped by the Fey and subsequently escaped, though not without... changes. Personally, I like C:tL, but from what I've heard, most fans of the Dreaming hate the Lost.

I'm willing to believe that almost nobody in North Korea actually believes all the propaganda about their leaders. They just say they do because they're afraid of what will happen if they disagree. Plus they have no access to what the ACTUAL information is, human psychology makes us think that wrong answers are better than no answers, so...

I'd offer to help, but my time is pretty limited these days, not sure if I'd actually be any help...

How does Mark of the ___ interact with the Priest (and other classes) ability to gain steps in paths? Or are you assuming that no setting with the Ascendent origin would have an alignment that included Path of the Angels?

Oooh, I like. I'm gonna see if my GM will let me take a couple levels of Crusader... fits the character pretty well. Also gonna nab a few of the new feats when I get enough levels....

Actually, Detect Goblinoids would be the benefit of elven weapon crafting in the LotR setting.

I have to agree that this would be the most elegant way of addressing it in that specific setting - while magical, the property was also seemingly mass produced. I might separate "1st age elven workmanship" from "2nd age elven workmanship" and "3rd age elven workmanship" when designing those packages though.

Yeah, Elven craftsmanship is pretty much straight up magic in LotR. Sam even asks Galadriel if the elven rope is magical, and she gives him a long convoluted answer that basically boils down to "All elven works are at least a little magical." Though she also says what Humans and Hobbits consider magic Elves consider mundane, so...

I like it. It has a certain elegance that the base system lacks. I will ponder more on this...

So, that SHIELD show?  Getting fast-tracked, with good support from up high.

Good thing I got partial ownership of a new comp, gonna have to watch this on Hulu.

Ooh! Like the writing team!

I've been wanting playable Tau since they announced a 40k RPG... seriously, the Tau Empire is a great setting for an RPG, you've got all the RPG tropes: A variety of races, optimism, and enemies on all sides. Why do we instead get a bunch of brainwashed super-men out to kill the alien?

I must say that I like Dalton's Bond better than most people I know, but I feel like Dalton makes a better villain than a hero. For examples, see The Rocketeer, Hot Fuzz, Chuck...

I'd just like to chime in with the oppinion that the Silence were, to me at least, the scariest creatures in Doctor Who that I've ever seen. Scarier than the Weeping Angels, scarier than the Vashta Nerada, scarier than Daleks. The concept of an enemy you can't even REMEMBER the instant you look away? Freaked me the hell out.

A couple of firefighters, caught in an ambush.
