save the webpage on your hd Smiley
It can be used offline then?
Should be able to yes. But may only work in the same browser it was saved from due to dynamically chosen javascript craziness.

I keep planning to make a downloadable version, but always get caught up in trying to automate it. I'm doing NaNoWriMo at the moment, so won't have any free time in November. Resurrect this thread in December and I'll see if I can make a download part of the site.

Doctor Who 50th anniversary schedule announced by BBC

Thought this news item page just lists events, no actual broadcast dates.

I would really like Richard Coyle, but i expect to be surprised on Sunday.

I think the most telling decision will be if they've gone for someone completely new again, like Smith and Tenant were, or an established screen presence.

Thanks guys. Hope you enjoy it Wolverine.

And of course. I here-by reserve the RPG license of anything I ever write for Crafty, should they want it.

My novel, the one what I wrote, but with better English than that, is now available on Kindle. So I'm announcing it everywhere I know, hope the crafty guys don't mind. It's fantasy tale with dragons and biplanes. I'm not very good at summarizing it so I've put the cover and blurb below.

What's more it's on offer, free for the next 3 days.

It should also be available in every other amazon region.

"On an isolated island 17 city kingdoms are edging their way into the industrial age. A railway network spans the land and a flying machine is about to make its first reach for the sky. But the old ways still hold sway. The man who brought magic to the land, many centuries ago, is worshiped as a god. Those inheriting his powers rule as kings, chosen and tested by an ancient dragon ritual. While behind the machinery of everyday life ever watchful alchemists pursue their forbidden knowledge.

As Bolan Riften, grandson of the king of Poryth, comes of age, testing for the right of succession may not be as straight forward as everyone expects."

Saw Star Trek Into Darkness last night, thankfully in IMAX, loved it. Awesome fun from start to finish.

I know there's been much speculation about the true nature of Benedict Cumberbatch's character, for those who want to know for certain...

I will get around to producing an easily downloadable form at one point, but it will always be a selection of html images and loads of javascript. Honestly you'll get a more compact version by saving from your browser as you'll only get the version of the javascript you need rather than one for every browser.

Hi Salvatos, I am still aroung but not playing anything crafty at the moment so I'm less active than I once was. I will be updating the builder with new stuff as it comes out, the class abilities for NPCs will go in as soon as I get home from the business trip I've been on, probably next weekend.

Since you raised it if anyone out there does know java and get they're welcome to lend a hand.

Dissarm

Is that where you insult them before you take their weapon? Wink

That's what I get for typing a response on my phone when not yet awake :p

But on the subject, steal/manipulate any small item (wallet, keys, detonator). Maybe building up to more tricky stuff, (assault rifle with strap, shoes filled with explosives).

Also, grapple benefit: apply hand-cuffs/manacles

14  Products / Fantasy Craft / Re: FC and 3.X side-by-side comparison of changes on: June 17, 2012, 06:10:58 AM
I think perhaps, because when you get down to it, it would be a shorter list that contained all the things that were the same between FC and 3.X. I would suggest assuming nothing is the same apart from the very core concepts, i.e. 6 stats, levels, classes, using a d20 for most things. Pretty much all the details are different. Tough though it is I'd say read the book, and, if you've got 3.X in your head, prepare to be surprised.
15  Products / Spycraft Third Edition / Re: Priorities, Priorities: Gearing Up (Time vs. Freedom) on: May 07, 2012, 05:25:32 AM
So the theme I see here, are the Game Masters want it Quick and Dirty and the players want complete freedom....

Interesting you'd say that. I find that as a player I want quick and dirty, so I don't feel like I have to spend hours choosing just the right kit to get the most out of my character. But as a GM, we do all our gear prep off-table before the game (I email out the briefing a few days before the game), and I know several of the players in my group really enjoy spending the few hours to get their gear chosen just right.

I also know some hate it and really miss the simplicity of bundles from stargate, and that's the kind of player I am.
