OOC: Is that 870 before prudence bonuses/penalties? or does that happen at teh end of the adventure?
Well folk. I'm glad I could help them see their way to getting us a better deal. What is our next point of order, and how may I further assist?

Simon also climbs down frmo his perch, and moves forward looking at the carnage around him. He's a bit naseuated, wondering about his choices. "so this is adventure" he mumbles to himself. He looks around, lending aid where he can.

Pleased that he's making progress, simon continues his firing from his distant roof. Unable to do much else really. Still he's safe, which he finds comforting. (aim/fire)

Yes that's right. The difference is in what threat level you might use. At least in spycraft, threat level is determined by adding up all the player levels and dividing that by 5.
So 2 players, say level 4, would be threat level 2 (8/5). 8 players at level 4 would be threat level 6. Of course gms discretion and campain qualities to make the game or individual threats higher or lower.

Simon gets excited and takes a wild shot at the goblin rider.
(1st action load, 2nd action fire)
Unless I could have been loading while the other party members move in, in which case I'll actually aim.

I'm sure I'm being dense, but did I just get written out of the game.
My understanding: Chris and I climb to the top of the building to defend the town.
Everyone else goes off into the woods and battles a goblin and his dog. Is the party just seperate and i'm waiting my turn? Is the building moving, and i travel into the woods with them? Are they coming back for us? I'm very confused.

I'm on now as NezMaster. My characters are Velocity, and Omega 6. I don't know how much I'm going to play velocity. He's designed after a tabletop character, and a speedster. And If you didn't know, speedster as a movement power is worthless. I had to change to flight, and the character has lost his magic to me.
Omega 6 is a little better, though i'm still not a great player. I'm really enjoying it. The stories are good (which is important to me.) I think my problem is with the mmo's in general. If you play it alone, it's just a video game like any other. So the POINT (it seems to me) is to group with others. But
A> I don't know anyone playing B> When I join, I feel almost guilty because I'm so bad a player I'm just slowing them down. C> Others read and go so fast I can't enjoy the flavor text or roleplay. Am I the ONLY person who wants an actual rpg online, where you can interact with people, and not just "Wanna help me level"..i sure feel that way.
Theres gropus that claim they rp, but I never see it. What am I missing? Anyway, Morganti, Whitmore, you guys wanna play sometime? Anyone else on here yet?

Stonecrusher takes his swings, giving it as much might as he dares, knowing there will be one after that. Then again, he's run gauntlets in the arena where there seemed to be no end in sight. The more time he gives the others the more lives he saves, and he's making his own choices. "Today I die free" he says, as he chops away at the oncoming hordes.
(Gm please roll for me)

Yeah I forgot one from an old DND game.
The theif with the invisibility cloak was supposed to go in and lure the dragon to the cave entrance. Once the dragon hits the cave entrance, the mages are supposed to unload 3 lightning bolts, pinning the dragon under rocks, but not burrying it, so we could fight it from the outside, while it's pinned. This took about an hour of tactics and planning, in which teh thief was heavily involved.
Somehow along the way the thief decided the best way to avoid the dragon chasing him, was to ride on it's back...while invisble...all the way to the entrance. He actually saved for half damage against one of the lightning bolts. He still died horribly.

jearing phelans instructions, imon grabs his bow and heads for the vantage point. "sounds as good as anything. Let me know if we meet anything that can be reasoned with, I may be of help then." And as he moves, he gives up on the idea of finding place to change clothes, and changes his shirt as he runs. "Sorry, I just can't stand being covered in blood anymore." His attire quickly fixed, he continues towards the vantage point Phelan pointed out.
