Yeah, to go along with that, the Hacker class is probably right out.  The wheelman would probably be a little more rare depending on how early you go, and of course, many of the science/drive focuses fortes would be lacking.  Not many submarines, or geneticists depending again on how early you go.  Also, a severe lack of rotary wing/aircraft potentially.

the picture wont work... dang it.  I saw a few mad max-esque trucks.  They all look pretty hard core.  I'd imagine that would just be giving them the security package 2 upgrades, and custom look.

I agree that the trucks are ugly as hell though.  But for some reason, their futuristic look kinda grows on me.

Still hunting for a crazy boat to add to the list.

I'm not sure which I liked better:
1) Regarding the propulsion system "invention schedule TBD;" or
2) "Crew of 70 including pilots, flight attendants, chefs, musicians, mimes, etc"

Who better to entertain you whilest the plane is going down than the antics of a terrified mime, trapped in a box?

The Super Clipper:  Shocked

yeah, John McMasters had some awesome ideas.  Its a shame that we never saw that big thing come into existance.  The session revolved around its maiden flight and the team trying to prevent a terrorist group called the "Children of Ra" from activating these artifacts that would "open a gateway to the sun."  The terrorists' back up plan was to just drop the plane full of fuel, and a Cobalt Bomb http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cobalt_bomb on to Southern Asia.  It was good fun.  Especially the part when they realized that the artifact was made of an element that when combined with water, goes BOOM!  And conveniently, it was sitting right next to the redundant landing gear on a seaplane that could easily flood the compartment with water.

Edit: This is a fun thread.  Here is a truck that I have stumbled upon.  I totally need one of these.  http://www.hourlylaff.com/pitures-sexiest-truck-on-the-planet/

I'd be curious to see what you guys can cook up for the plane on Pg 11 of this PDF.  It was the setting for my last session of Spycraft.  Called the Super Clipper.

http://www.colorado.edu/aerospace/about/news/john_mcmasters.pdf

Its supposed to be able to carry 1200 passengers, and basically uses two 747s as pontoons.  I couldn't find any other pictures of it.  They talked about it in an Air and Space Smithsonian once.  Im definitely guessing this is one of those Reputation only pics.

Edit:
Another good one would be one of the tunnel boring machines.  They come in various sizes, but I could see them coming in handy now and again.

My list of awesomely bad movies:

Xanadu
Critters
Flash Gordon (I actually got the actor to sign my 3.5 PHB at a con, he didn't know what D&D was...  Shocked )
Needful Things
The Hazing
Godzilla: Final Wars
Final Destination 3 (mostly because of Mary Elizabeth Winstead)
Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift
Stay Alive
Comando ("blow off some steam...")
Tremors 2: Aftershocks
Maximum Overdrive
Shark Attack 3: Megalodon (just watch it... http://youtube.com/watch?v=1nzd0R_OeOc )
Night Feeders

and I pretty much agree with 90% of the rest listed on here...  I blame some of these on the fact that my friends and I have a bad movie night once a week.

I still thought it coulda been fun to blow some holes in the baddies, but we had done our job.  I couldn't fault his logic.  My character was a run first, ask questions later type.  I think it ended well.  At least there were no extra blood stains in my trunk from further bodies that I had to haul around the city.   Smiley

I'm anxious to see if I can spot the part of the movie that I got to walk through while wandering the streets of Chicago one day.  I was wandering about to look for food, and next thing I know, Im crossing a bridge covered in National Guard look alike trucks and seeing actors milling about in Camo uniforms.  Then came the camera cranes and the thousands of bundles of wires and things.  Noone was filming at the time, but they looked like they were just wrapping up.  No celeb sightings or anything, but I'll be excited to be like "Oh man I was walking right there!"

Not sure I'm gonna be a fan of generic batman girlfriend reprisal.  He's supposed to have a new one in every movie...  Thats how it works.  *shrug*

So far in my perusal, I havent found anything thats really affordable (Im a poor college kid).  But, I just got the board game Last Night on Earth, and it has some fun minis, so I think I'll just use those.

TY for the links though!

After perusing I could not find an adequate answer to this.  Anyone got a good site or place to find good spycraft minis?

We could just make a new thread and if people have them, they can just put them up.  *shrugs* I can dig out my old character sheets.
508  Products / Spycraft 2.0 / Fun NPC monsters on: July 09, 2008, 02:30:02 PM
Sitting here bored at work, and I figured I'd start up another new thread for us.

With Fragile minds out there, and some of the cool things in the extra NPC document that crafty has made for us.  I think we should work on fleshing out the number of things that go bump in the night or squish or screech or what have you.

So, lets see some fun and horrifying monster NPCs for all our fragile minds needs.  Do your worst!

oh and if they have cool toys, don't forget to add those in too... Like the independent tracking shoulder cannon of the predator, etc.

So, speaking of LSPY characters, is there somewhere where they are all listed out? I'm kinda curious to see what all kinds of crazy characters UNITAS ended up with.  The stories I hear so far make me chuckle.

Although the guy I met with the attack monkey that gave people stress damage just by looking at it was one of my favorite interesting builds.  That and his meat tenderizer of silence...
510  Products / Spycraft 2.0 / Re: Getting the players more involved. on: July 09, 2008, 01:36:59 PM
Oh, you wont have to worry about them getting bigger guns, I planned for that.  But, Im also only gonna give them a couple.  The cool thing about being in a horror/sci fi game is that the baddies can do whatever I want them to.  Especially when they have had 12 hours to tool around inside the base and their own interdimensional portal to summon forth extra baddies.   Grin

Ive got my cast of NPCs, I've got my unnnerving beasties, and Ive got an awesome rule book full of things that I can use.  Now... if only mongoose would hurry up with their shipping me my 3rd printing...  Tongue

Edit: Oh, the one thing that may be difficult is that most of downtown Chicago is covered in a thick oppressive mist/fog bank that hides all the beasties, and grants everything outside of 20 feet total concealment... mwahaha.   Hope they remember their thermal goggles...
