The only thing for certain that is due to happen besides the calendar rolling over is that for the first time on 10K years the Earth lines up with the hole in the Milky Way Galaxy.
No, it doesn't, since there is no such goddamn thing.

I'm big on instant gratification. Kick off the game with the existing version you prefer, and when Spycraft 3 hits, convert/translate if it does a better job for the kind of game you want to play.

I finally got to see Dredd - in a discount theater that was a a first-run house when I saw Judge Dredd there a decade-and-a-half ago.
But I digress.
Loved it. Karl Urban's good, loved the look of the city and it's inhabitants. Straightforward go-forth-and-kick-butt story.

Agents, adventurers, and others:
I need GMs. I'm looking to establish a strong presence for Crafty at four conventions in the Ohio Valley in 2013 - Cincinnati in March, Louisville in July, Lexington in September, and Charleston, West Virginia, in October.
If you're familiar enough with our game lines to run events at conventions and are interested in joining up, send me a message.

(also vaguely embarrassed that the first Starship Troopers is one of my favourite "brain off, enjoy" movies of all time)
Nothing to be embarrassed about. It's not a good movie, but it is entertaining, and it delivers on the three tenets required by American Orthodox Verhoevenism: casual nudity, ridiculous violence, and media mockery.

I was a Bounty Hunter for Alderac (BH #007, in fact!) and my interest was piqued by this announcement of an upcoming modern-era game. Ran a couple of demos using the downloaded preview, and when the book arrived, I bought it outright rather than waiting a month for it to be available as a program purchase. Over lunch the day I bought the book, my best bud and I looked through the SEH and were hooked by the new ideas and incredible cleverness.
