Blur - To the End has a nice Bond feel to it.

And of course Millennium by Robbie Williams sampled You Only Live Twice and the video parodied Bond well.

Reds in My Bed by 10cc = the ultimate espionage song (which, apparently, if you live in the US you absolutely cannot view online- so here are the lyrics).
107  Legacy Games / Classic Spycraft / [Classic Spycraft] Wallpaper Art on: July 11, 2011, 08:09:13 PM
I'm looking for the wallpaper art of Veronica Jones. Are these still available somewhere?

Are the threads from the AEG message boards about Classic Spycraft totally gone?

Very nice program. I appreciate the web based-ness (as a Linux user and all that).

Has anyone looked at the Louis Porter Jr PDF series - D20 Espionage Genre Toolkit? I wonder if they have anything to offer that Spycraft does not.

On the bouncy boob issue - we hear you. While I can't say anything about the exact nature of our art at this time (no fun spoiling any surprises... Wink), SC3 will have a different visual tone than 2.0. Buxom ladies will probably be present, mainly cause dudes will be drawing them, but I think the median bust size should decrease noticably Smiley
Bringing an older post up- actually, I appreciate this as a geek dad and a geek husband.

Veronica Jones covers and art, iconic Spycraft silver. Style out the ying-yang...good times.
Veronica Jones covers would be wonderful. I absolutely loved the look of the 1st edition books.

Here is a free online flash game that is Spycraft-like:

Oh, I didn't realize the the Mongoose book was B&W. I ordered a print-on-demand in the hard cover version last night. I thought the middle book was this. Any example of how different the print-on-demand hard cover is to these hard covers?

(incidentally, I've read that DTRPG's customer service is excellent and I can add a +1 to that testimony. I accidentally had them ship the book to an old address, caught the mistake and emailed the correct one. Jeff Montgomery emailed me this morning to say that he updated the info and there should be no problem. excellent customer service)

Moebius, the book's very well put-together. My copy's seeing regular use at my writing desk, and it's stood up to no small amount of abuse in the four weeks since I received it.

Good to hear. Is that the soft cover?

Hey Moebius - welcome to the boards.

Thanks! I signed up long ago and have occasionally lurked. Now I find myself back on board with Spycraft (I had the 2.0 book but was overwhelmed! Now I'm kicking myself for selling it off, but I'm looking to get the POD and looking forward to 3rd Edition).
116  Products / Spycraft 2.0 / Re: World on Fire still coming? on: July 05, 2011, 04:48:14 PM
I believe there is going to be an updated World on Fire released after Spycraft 3 is released. But one has to wait for the other.

Nope. World on Fire is decidedly Spycraft 2.0. We're still planning to release the rest of the World on Fire line before Spycraft Third hits.

Interesting. Will Spycraft 3rd have it's own new setting(s)?

Hmmm... sorry to be so inquisitive, but this is my first go with POD...

The soft cover is $30 and the hard cover is $40 (at the time of this post). What should I expect to pay in shipping? The site says this:

We currently work with Lightning Source, a world leader in print-to-order book manufacturing. Lightning Source has facilities in both the USA and the UK (and soon in Australia) which lets us print your book closer to you to keep the freight cost and delivery time to a minimum.

The amount we charge in shipping is exactly what Lightning Source charges us for the shipment. The shipping total includes a charge by Lightning Source of US$1.50 per order for handling and shipping materials. This charge may make a single book order appear to have higher freight costs than you would expect.

Also, in a few cases, like USPS Media Mail and shipping options to Canada, we are working with Lightning Source to provide better shipping options.
So $1.50 + what generally speaking? I'd guess a different cost for either version- soft or hardcover.

Considering going for the print on demand. How does the print on demand book look in B&W? How does the paperback binding hold up after some use?
