Page 108 2nd printing state that a personal lieutenant "may not control additional characters." This includes summoned creatures, right?

I always consider that you would use it as a training scenario. The recruits go through training and come out the other side as 1st level agents.

I always thought having PCs start at level 0 would be awesome for a zombie break out. That would bring out some serious terror.

I think Pat said FC is supposed to be this summer and 10KB is this fall. But it's all subject to deviation (see page 346).

And now I've been upgraded to a hot tub, with bubbles.

An information leak? A little something? Just a "I'm working on blah blah right now. Yes Walken, you're right, the book is as awesome as you expect it to be." Please? No one has posted in this section for a month and I'm still checking it 3 times per day.

Sorry, I've got finals over here.

Brief concept: A Greek soldier with a 25+ year career, he sends most of his paycheck home to his disabled father and widowed sister. Recruited into the GI Joes, during the physical he wonders off to find a place to smoke. He comes across the radiology room and takes a peek at his file. He has a tumor in his brain, he switches his x-rays with another person's and heads back to the examination room before he is noticed. Recalling the pay off his family would receive if he dies in action he decides to keep the information to himself. Without any idea of how long he has to live he makes the decision to keep going like nothing is wrong, until he becomes to sick to work and has to find a way to buy the farm.

I know that's not flushed out well, or even in complete sentences, just a snippet to show that I'm sill around.  I'll try to get a complete version up soon. I like the concept, I've never played anyone who is, well, ticking. I'm not planning on having him jumping off buildings and charge machine guns, just strangely motivated.

Right now I'm leaning towards Wheelman Veteran/Motorhead.

I have a question, as I toy with GI vehicles. Do the Wheelman's Custom  Ride ability and the Big Budget quality stack when a character takes a vehicle pick as part of his mission gear?

I'll have my background up this weekend (remember, you said dark). Right now I'm just having to much fun toying with remote controlled semi-auto grenade launchers miniaturized onto motorcycle side cars.

I've been wishing for an OpenRPG game. I'm PST but I'm only available between 8am-3pm M-F.

Bottomless Clip does fit, very well, and I was thinking of Gunmen as well. Before I go any further I'm going to point out I never read the comics, I only watched the show so these suggestion might not sync up with everyone else's view points. I couldn't stand comics when I was younger because I could only get 16 pages at a time and then I had to wait a month. Why would I spend 2 bucks on a comic when I could spend 3 bucks for another GI Joe (I've still got about 200+ figures boxed up in my garage)?

My first thought is there should be a fast focus quality, allowing characters to gain a new focus or forte for every 3 ranks they gain in a focus skill. I recall that nearly every character could drive any vehicle that was available.  Unfortunately there is nothing in the book like this.

What about Big Budget? GIs had the best gear, rifles, machine guns, grenades, and all the tanks, planes, ships and jeeps you could stand. Remember The General? http://www.yojoe.com/vehicles/90/general/ I can only remember one episode where they couldn't get all the gear they wanted and that was because a member of Cobra (must of been Zartan) infiltrated the government to cut back their funding.

Mmmmmmmmmm, the General. I've been thinking about that bad boy all day and I'm switching to Driver, maybe Driver/Infiltrator. I'm going crack open the book and see if I can build myself a Mobile Battle Bunker. http://www.yojoe.com/vehicles/90/mobilebattlebunker/

Are you using any campaign qualities? You listed Black vs White.

I'm toying with the background right now, seems to be a Pointman but that may change when I put it on paper.
