Despite herself Signey warms towards Yurim, or maybe it's just the wine - Where is Signey from and how patriotic is she? "I'm from Alem, my family has holdings in the mountains - could be said we're wealthy, Alem's mostly farmland, I think my family mines more than half the iron production of the country." ... "My country - I don't go in for politics, no more than I have to, though I've no ill will towards them."What is her opinion about the other adventurers? "Dolmen is fascinating, I'd love to know how he was created, is he like the sprites with a spirit bound to dead rock, or is he a vestige of some near extinct race of stone-men?" "Hadingur is unknown, his focus on revenge bothers me, but he seems respectful enough." "Brand is erratic, I shouldn't draw conclusions - but he seems to act on emotion - not thinking things through." "Killishandra scares me, I'd like to get a look at that sword of hers, but I don't want to get on her bad side."What does she think about this adventure? "I'm not a traveler, and certainly don't relish fighting and sleeping outdoors, but the vale has lain outside our influence for so long, who knows what secrets have been hidden in the valley, snippets of lore and ancient artifacts." Why is she so interested in dragons? "Dragons are the apex of our world, they're clever, physically powerful, command the mystical, no other creature in the world can match them one-on-one, Thihammar has kept two powerful nations at bay for 250 years and it's standing theory that he only stopped because he got what he wanted. Other races tell of powerful leaders who accomplish much, but Thihammar did it on his own." There's more than a hint of admiration in her voice as she speaks. Resolve Check (1d20+10=24)Signey's quite stuck in her ways, even in the face of Yurims charismatic onslaught. Still, she's not completely against conversation.

Blackerley snarls, trying to suppress his fear of the criminals and the discomfort of the poison burning through his gut. Aiden notices that he has a traditional swordsman's stance as he launches a wave of attacks getting two light blows on Aiden The two criminals lay into him with words and weapons, leaving Blackerley in a nervous mess and tripping up over his sword. Given Blackerley is stunned for 4 rounds, I can't see you failing to knock him into oblivion in that time, skipping forward?

@Iferon: I have no problem with it - if it helps, Signey doesn't really have a negative view of Yurim, she just thinks she should have. Also, even if she likes him, she may not admit it, for fear of getting burned by those who are more adept in the social arena.

Aiden drops down the whole, smashing into a guard who tentatively peers up at him, a quick turn and smash into the wounded one getting to his feet. The last remaining terrified guard strikes a blow, but the chain shirt turns the blow. "No Surrender - they won't let us live anyway" shouts Blackerley, though his skin is noticably pale from the poison that courses through his system. Blackerley is actually last in Initiative, so giving a short time to see if anyone's following Aiden down?

Signey spends her days researching, she's already spent much time studying dragons in the past, but she'll look into Thihammar specifically, and read up on the servant races. may not find anything more than Yurim, but Signey puts more faith in the written word than on rumor & memory

Signey finds Yurims attitude disrespectful to say the least, but gently reminds herself that Ragnarson wouldn't invite people along if they were't useful, so she holds her tongue. "Thank you for your gifts and for the meal, sir, it won't take me long to assemble my gear." She gratefully accepts the toolbox, packing it away, though upon returning to her room will spend several hours going through the contents, ensuring that everything in it meets her standards.
