Sorry for rescuing this old thread, but it's useful to have, and i think it is where I should post this...

A friend of mine took this miniature from Kensei

and after a bit of work, he ended with this:

Sorry about quality. He put even some nails on the back (Only a portion of the man's back is exposed.

Well, not the better result, but maybe this gives some people ideas for his mistborn miniatures Smiley

Well, on the forum the campaing is still in progress, but forum play is so slow that we have not advanced much (Just introducing some antagonists, NPCs, and some info for them). We like to write more in the manner of novels than short turns as in table playing. But players reply as soon as I post something, so I think they are enjoying it Smiley And They had a couple of fights, and that was smooth even being on the forum...

In table, I have now 3 players more or less sure. If I found a fourth (There are two persons interested) we will probably start playing in table too.

I will look about that (Jornadas Lúdicas) since I am near, so maybe I can come and say at least hello Wink

See you!

... borrowing some ideas from the forum Wink It is forum based, and has just started, but I will tell you how it goes.

In case anyone (speaking spanish Wink ) wants to read it, But as I said, we have just started.

The group are a Mistborn, a Soother, a Coinshot and a former Hazekiller (The only one without powers). I have written just few "checkpoints", hoping to adapt the story to the way the like to play.

Hope I can tell you how is going for a long time, since it will mean the players enjoy it Smiley

As usual, please forgive my english.

See you!

Fast reader or not, Brandon Sanderson's books are really easy to read. I mean, even "The Way of Kings", being more than 1000 pages long is "easy & fast" to read.

I know this is OT, but I even have gifted a little nephew of mine the Mistborn Books (And Elantris too) and he almost eated the books. Readed the trilogy in just a pair of weeks.

Oh, and another OT, but I can't resist... Consider yourself invited to some beer if you like, another one form Valencia here Smiley I just never thought that there were BS fan's here, and less than that people who were also interested in Mistborn Adventure Game...

By the way, and again in the topic, I have been looking this thread and really love the idea about the ship. Maybe for a forum game, since the players will be able to develop slowly the process.

Just a couple days here and I love the forum (And the people in it Wink )

Thanks guys!

EDIT: does this work for anyone?
EDIT2: Nevermind, I have not readed about the dates...

Thank you all, guys!

MistbornDave, as Dreamerstreamer pointed out, I was looking for something to play with my players without nothing more in mind that getting used to the system, letting them try combat, rolling some dices... That kind of "small adventure". I mean something that can be played on just a session, and then start thinking about my own stories. I always loved to create my own, and I have been doing for a while (Since 4th edition of "Stormbringer", the ICE Lord of the Rings, that kind of games), but as I said, for beggining I prefer something "premade".

I know I need to read it right now, but this week is... Well, nightmarish. And for the players, well, that is another nightmare. One of them has readed only "The Final empire". Another two have readed the original trilogy. I would like more playing in AoL era, but since noone of them has readed (They only read in spanish, and it's still a month or two until it is released) I would need to play in an earlier setting. Probably before "The Final Empire" events, but again, I need to be cautious whit spoilers with the one that has not readed the whole trilogy. And maybe another player, who has not started reading Mistborn, will show up. That is another of my concerns, playing without spoilers, you know Wink And haven't talked with my players about an actual play, they think I still not have the book, so it will be kind of (big) surprise when they see it Smiley

@Aldus Vertten Are you from Spain too? Maybe we can share thoughts when I start playing these.

Hi there. Greetings from Spain Smiley

Just received my copy today. I would not be able to read it and start playing until at least a week, but having it in my hands...  well, I have been waiting for it for a long time Smiley

Problem is that I don't have the time I used too when I was young to prepare small adventures, in order for me as a GM and my players to get used to the system. In another games, you have small but complete adventures in the manual. I know I could do almost anything, being a world so full of possibilities (Specially when you are the evil kind of GM... Cheesy ), but as I said, I would like to have something we can start playing while I design something more specific to my group. So I have read about "House of Ashes" (I cannot download in the web page) and "The Ninth House". Any idea about when will be those available?

Thanks in advance!

Please forgive the mistakes in my writing. Not english speaker here Wink
