Wow, so many talented people...
As for me I have been a wage slave to computer help desks for about 7 years now. Both in Desktop support (98, ME, and early XP days) now moved to server support for Windows 2003 server and Exchange.
You can put me down for more than a passing obsession with 80's cartoons. I also have a knack for see patterns in Collectable card games.

It's hard for me to imagine this game being played by much more than the people that post here. Most of the people I talk to about it has the impression that its a dead game.
In my mind I know this is untrue but when I hit a college campus or a Convention unless its one of the big ones Dragoncon, gencon, or Origins, there might be one if any Spycraft games going. But you all may be right, Spycraft was always a smaller player base than fantasy games in general. Perhaps FantasyCraft and the master craft system will renew interest from the outside.
Regardless I still think that Spycraft was the best D20 based system on the market. Carry on.

You know ever since the break from AEG and the long gap between material after the release of Spycraft 2.0 I have watched the forums dry up more and more. I have bought almost every PDF out there, have my copy of 2.0 in print and PDF, then got World on Fire at releast. I post rarely but lurk almost every day for years now.
But ever time I long on I see the same diehards but that is it, very little new blood around here at all. I have to ask "is it just me" or is this place almost like a ghost town with beggars licking at table scraps.
So again I say what happened to the fire, what happened to the massive community I remember posting radical stuff every day?

All I can really say is that this is something that you are not alone in. Many people both on and off of these forums have had issues like these.
A few years back around 2003 I lost my Job at Gateway tech support, then in 3 months I also lost my girlfiend of like 4 years. After that I spent the better part of a year unemployed locked in my Dad's basement loathing most of the world.
When things get that dark in your life all you can do is weather through them and fight to keep things from drowning you.
I wish I could say it gets better with time but that is not always the case. A friend of mine once told me to "Be the change you want to see" sounds like crap but in the end it made sense. I had to make the changes in my life to pull things together.
First I managed to get a job at HP working a hellish help desk. Then later I got to a better job and was able to afford a house with a few roommates.
Having peers to interact with other than parents helps a lot. I would get batty living alone pretty quick. Pets also helped out a lot.
Keep it up and remember you are not alone unless you really want to be.

Well I can recomend pretty much anything written by David Weber. If you want to read more than a few of them online to see go to http://www.baen.com/library/defaultTitles.htmI recomend starting with the Honor Harrington universe, think Horatio Hornblower in space. Awesome battles, character development, and depth of story. First book in the series is "On Basilisk Station" Another massive Sci fi series that impressed me a lot more than I thought it would was the Warhammer 40k Horus Heresy series. It is being worked on by multiple Authors but the first 5 have been very good so far.

Back for more here is one of the more complicated conversions.
Combat Tonics
Armored Shell Your body optimizes to absorb damage better.
Benefit: You gain DR 2/1, this DR stacks with any worn armor Drawback: Reduce Charisma by 1 point due to skin looking odd and feeling unpleasant to touch.
Armored Shell 2 Your body has further changed to absorb damage better.
Benefit: You gain DR 2/2, This stacks with any worn armor and Armored Shell 1. Drawback: Reduce Charisma by 2 points due to strange bone like ridges forming along your skin.
Electric Flesh Your body is optimized to be resistant to electric attacks and boosts any electrical attacks you make.
Benefit: You gain Resistance 10 to all eletrical damage and you are considered to have a character lvl of +2 when using Electrobolt or Static discharge.
Drawback: You have a warped magnetic field causing mild shocks (1 vitality) to anyone that touches you for more than 1/2 action without being grounded. Also the character is at -5 to any computers or electronics checks due to possible damage to the system you inflict when working on them.
Electric Flesh 2 Your body has become a living conduit of energy.
Benefit: You gain Resistance 15 to all eletrical damage and you are considered to have a Character lvl of +4 when using Electrobolt or Static discharge. This stacks with Electric Flesh 1.
Drawback: You have a warped magnetic field causing moderate shocks (2 vitality) to anyone that touches you for more than 1/2 action without being grounded. Also the character is at -5 to any computers or electronics checks due to possible damage to the system you inflict when working on them.
Static Discharge You have an absolutely electrifying presence
Benefit: When struck by a melee attack the character emits a static discharge attack as a blast centered on himself with a blast range 5ft. It's strength is equal to the characters level. Anyone standing nearby must make a reflex save DC(10+Con bonus+1/2 Character lvl) for 1/2 damage.
Drawback: Increase ADAM depenancy by an additional 5 points
Static Discharge 2 You have become an electric terror on the battlefield.
Benefit: When struck by a melee attack the character emits a static discharge attack as a blast centered on himself with a blast range 5ft. It's strength is equal to the characters level +10. Anyone standing nearby must make a reflex save DC(10+Con bonus+1/2 Character lvl) for 1/2 damage. If this is equiped with Static discharge 1 resolve each blast separately.
Drawback: Increase ADAM dependancy by an additional 8 points.
These were tough I could use some feedback on how to balance them out better.

Wow, a minute after hitting the button I remembered one we used.
The DR gained from class abilities "IE Soldier and some Prcs" can not be reduced via Armor piercing. Only worn physical armor or gadgets can be reduced.

The only house rule I remember using in my last game was maxing out the Vitality die per lvl.
My reasoning is that I usually play with no more than 2 players and they "might" have two characters. They may or may not have an NPC with them and they tend to run very tight almost Metal Gear Solid like missions.
Since endurance is an important part of the "Heroes" I pushed them to max their vitality.
It is a possiblity for a campaign option I bet if you worked it right.
Almost everything else I have used was in the rules already or a campaign option.
