Has there been any more word on this?  I could REALLY use a program to maintain my campaign's database ...

I'd like to see modular sourcebooks to add elements to the game ... like a book on cyberware/near-future tech, or a book on psionics.  This would also suit well for new eras of play, like a book on the '60s or maybe a WWII  filter.  On top of that, small PDFs that explore the classes would be pretty cool as well ... like a Soldier PDF that offers new feats, archetypes, and gear.

I think Spycraft as a card game would survive well if adapted into the Living Card Game model that FFG uses for Call of Cthuhlu ...

Just remember that the Wheelman can do much more than just drive/pilot the vehicle. A well-designed wheelman does more than control the vehicle or just sit in the van. He also can be an infiltrator, an engineer, an outdoorsman (even an expert equestrian), or a trucker with a mean right hook and a talent for improvised weaponry.

Hmm .. just finished watching the videos from GC and wishing I could've been there and that SC3e was coming out this year   As far as some suggestions:
• Wheelman.  Love the class and between The Transporter, GI Joe member Clutch and Spy Hunter, would love to see it still in the game
• Guns.  I don't mind the huge lists, but I can see the need to streamline for the main book as well.  Has Crafty considered PDF Gun Catalogs that could be collected annually?
• High-Action.  I love running high, over the top action in my campaigns.  SC2e has allowed me to do that and I would love to see it continued in 3e  
• Settings/Era Books.  I'm all for this idea!  I'd love to see a new 60s book, as well as a 70s book for SC (as well as a 40kB 70s Handbook).  But could we also see near future concepts as well?  Maybe something like Repo Men, Cowboy Bebop or Blade Runner?  Not so much centering on the ship battles, but rather a dystopic view of the future, or using the solar system as the map rather than just Earth?
• Backgrounds.  Have you looked at the rules for Character Generation in FATE?  Not saying using them directly, but there are some good ideas there for generating backgrounds and subplots in a more communal environment.
• Martial Arts.  Maybe breakdown more martial arts the same way the sidebar in SC2e did?  Could even make a neat promo piece for 3e ...

As an aside, I like to use SC for my conspiracy/espionage games.  Think X-Files combined with Sneakers.  I'm hoping that we'll be able to continue that under the 3e banner
