if Microsoft put out an official press release just saying that this is how it is, I'd at least admire the honesty.
They let some Creative Director do that so he takes the heat and not them...

From what I have read about PS4, no. They are making it easier for publishers to create games for the PS4, but in doing so, they are changing the architecture. In doing so they have to sacrifice backwards compatibility. Basically, think Apple when they went from OS 9 to OS X.

So what's the over/under on his 'resignation'?
I think I'm the only one hoping that man gets promoted. I love Orthy. Granted, he's a nightmare for PR, but hell it's fun to read. His twitter feed is now private, I'm guessing the over/under is getting good at this point. Someone probably had a hallway meeting he didn't want.

Patton Oswalt wins the Internet this round: "Roger, I hope you're in an infinite movie palace, watching every film the great directors only dreamed of making. RIP, @ebertchicago" I want to go to that place when I die. I hope that he and Siskel have a balcony all to themselves to watch from.

Yeah, I generally would just space bar through the planet side quests pickups.
But, this is the same problem that all MMOs have, and why I generally move on to something else. I've never been into end game raiding.

See, I never got what it is everyone thinks is wrong with SW:TOR. It's not the WOW killer people hype'd it to be, then I never thought it would be. The basics of MMOs have been around for awhile, so the mechanics I never expected to change. They had said early on that the space combat would be a rail shooter, yeah I was thrilled on that one. But had hope that they would do like SWG did and add in full space sim later on. Voice overs were the big thing, they really made SW:TOR fun along with the story line quests for each class. Yeah, repeating the planet side quests got a bit old, but then every game has that draw back.
The thing that MMOs are missing is the concept of roleplaying, and I'm not sure how that can be added. If I could, I'd probably be rich.
In the end, I play a game to hang with friends, and that doesn't have to be a MMORPG, and online multiplayer will do. We've been doing Hawken lately.

I don't know. It will be good to see her stretch her comedy ability a bit and might actually be funny.
Come on, how many people on these forums have ever tried to play themselves in a RPG? In a dangerous situation? ... That's why I'll be watching this one.
I find her the only redeeming quality in that movie, then I thought the same of Your Highness. That isn't enough to get me see it. But to each there own.

Aaaand know NK is saying they are in a "State of War" with SK. Which, at the moment, is like the US saying "we are south of Canada". Read the declaration of war. It is nice to see that hyperbole is not dead, but it could do for a bit of brevity. A lot of that seems to remind me of what Saddam said back in 1990. Took the US only 6 weeks to turn is military into scrap metal, and he had chemical weapons. I can't see how NK would be any different, I'd just say we not wait 10 years to finish the job. You're right.. we hit the storage bunkers with such precision that it rendered them unusable and essentially buried for most of their arsenal. NK may be different where they may be already forward deployed. The main problem here is the just sheer amount of not knowing. Rodong-1s. How many do they have? ..if any? Are they conventional? What about artillery rounds? There are ALOT of ? with NK. And far too many of those result in massive civilian casualties. And while I'm like everyone else with the "F*#@ Yeah! Let's teach these whackos a what-for!".. I'd rather not do it on the souls of 20,000 civilians and servicemen. I complete agree, I'm not saying we go in. Just saying a lot of the worry with NK was the same as what we had with Iraq in 1991. Mobile SCUD launchers with possible Chemical weapons that we couldn't track. Possible other WMDs we didn't know where they where. There is also a lot of belief that what NK does have for military equipment hasn't been kept up and probably won't work. Either way, if we have to, lets do it right and not have to do again in 10-20 years.
