Hahaha. I'm almost 40 so being called a kid is quite a compliment!
But for some reason we called our PC "toons" when playing super hero games and it sticked.
I got using "toons" from playing MMPGS (especially WoW since the word "toon" describes the visual of the characters so well).

When we started playing FC, keeping track of all the abilities IS a chore. No doubt about it. Best way to deal with it, since you havee the PDF, just copy/paste all their abilities into word and email it to the player. He can print it off and have it in front of him for easy access. I, also, printed off all the misc actions you can do. At 4th level it was like 5 pages long lol with decent sized font (oh and I blurbed the skills, as well). It's hard to remember everything in a new system. The printed info makes it a lot easier.

What does that video have to do with the discussion?
Yeah I copied the wrong url initially . I've since changed it to an appropriate one. LOL I'm not gunna ask what kinda por-er-vid was initially linked. btw that is a pretty tame chimp attack. I don't think it was very serious. If you want to see a serious chimp attack, well, google is your friend.

Just remember, the players will start calling you out to roll on stuff, too, when they land those shots on bosses!

Holy Necromancers, Batman!
The only problem with the size doesn't equate to str line is this: In order for them to be able to move and carry stuff at all, they have to be strong...very strong. Size (not strength) would only help if the things they carried were very much bigger than us but the same weight. A 1' cube that weighs 25 pounds is easily enough handled, could even be put in a backpack to allow other things to be carried around. Make that cube 5' and same weight, much more difficult...unless you're a giant. Strength to be able to move and carry translates directly into the ability to move mass. Moving large amounts of mass equates into a higher energy expenditure. Inflicting damage is, essentially, inflicting energy (in whatever form) into an object. If you are able to move a 5 pound weapon a X mph and hit the target, you will do Y amount of damage. If you are able to move a 50 pound weapon at X mph and hit the same target, that target will be much less happy about it.
But, again, the point of the build is to allow GMs to use, viably, giants in their world. In a world of magic, arguing about the fine points of physics while keeping your finger in the place you left off reading about the spell feat you might get seems a bit damn silly to me. Crafty guys have said over and over with any aspect of the system, if you don't like it, CHANGE IT. The build they made is to allow for them to exist and be useable as a character class without being crazy overbalanced. This is the explanation given at several points in this thread along with how (and why) they worked around the str issue. If you want giants to have crazy Str then give it to them. Just know they will be very over balanced and shouldn't be used as a character options (you would, also, have to modify xp values for them).

Another case of D&D assumptions, perhaps?
More like easily confused adjectives. Would be very easily prevented with a () subtext. FE:" ...inflicts heat (not fire) damage" Especially with how many times this sort of confusion has been posted about.
