Being newish to SC2.0, I would like to ask the advice of crafty types here who could offer suggestions as to how I can create my own monsters, demons and other baddies for my PC's to combat. Are there any guidelines or procedures that are required for doing this, like a checklist with step-by-step instructions? Thanks in advance.

Just got WoF. It looks good and crunchy. I'll have to keep from leaving crumbs in bed! The Staff Mastery and Supremacy feats look delicious. My only gripe is that I've gotta have BAB +12 to use Supremacy. I assume that in SC2.0 a staff would offer subdual dam. only. Is there a feat where a PC can employ the staff with real damage instead of just subdual? Thanks. (As you may already discern, I'm still learning the system, so please bear with this green recruit!)

I did a search and couldn't find a thread that addressed this specifically, but...
In RL I do a lot of staff-oriented MA (quarterstaff from WMA and Bo Stick from OMA), and, perusing my SC2.0 rulebook only found Staff Basics (p. 179). Were there any other staff mechanics in the rulebook? Are there any more offered in WoF or other publs.? Thanks.

As always, thanks a ton for the great ideas! Keep 'em comin'! I read Beau Geste some 10-12 years ago but I'll have to reread it. I plan on reading some histories of the Legion this year by D. Porch. Ideally the timeframe will be between the founding in the 1830's to the Edwardian era. Marche ou crève!

Not to off-ramp the hi-tek entries, but... I'm looking into running a campaign on the French Foreign Legion (during its "romanticised" glory days of late 19th to early 20th centuries) and the arms and equipment available to it. Any ideas/info are very welcome. Since I do not read French, I'm limited to other languages, sadly. Thanks. And now, back to our hi-tek programme.

I've been thinking about adapting SC2.0 for a FFL-esque campaign (a la P.C. Wren's novel "Beau Geste") set in the late 19th/early 20th century (thus, late Victorian/early Edwardian).
I'm very new to the 2.0 rules and would like to ask if there needs to be far too much alteration to the rules to make such a timeframe work, or if SC is suited to such a concept that is not anywhere near the default action/espionage settings. Thanks in advance.

I checked Drivethru and still don't see any 'update' to the 2.0 rulebook pdf, nor any World on Fire... *taps foot*
