I wish more Christians practised what they preach - i.e. tolerance.

Granted.  They become more judgmental about things that should not be tolerated and start wars with countries deemed "salvageable."  (The unsalvageable countries just become slightly radioactive cinders, they should be ready for occupation in a couple centuries.)

I wish it was a bit warmer in my office.

Ripped without guilt from Fark.com:  Ukranian band turns a Katy Perry song into pure win

heavy crossbow is 7 rounds, so your longrifle would be 10 ?

I recall the discussion on muzzle loaders starting around 10 half actions to reload, fewer with a feat or two.  I believe something similar is the case for crossbows.

I'm not going to rule out an extra card or two for space, though I'm not quite sure what you can do in the interplanetary void that you can't do in the gravity well.

Mass combat would be sorta tricky to do as a mass combat.  What sort of strategies do you put on the cards?  Unless you broaden the conflict to cover everything the day of the battle?

About the air combat, I think most everything that's on the chase cards already.  To the deck and such mean, to me and please correct me if I'm deluded, the general things that can be done in a chase, whether on land, on/in the water and in the air.  Perhaps a new dram con would be needed to cover sublight space combat with "real" physics, but I cannot say with confidence that effort would be well spent.

Granted!  Your subtle machinations are ruthlessly derailed, it it really derailing if you burn the ties, by trigger happy gun bunnies.  (And I still want to join one of your games.)

I wish I understood a bit more about my girl.  (I ain't even reaching for understanding women, that would just make a mess when my head exploded.)

I wish the weather were nicer.

Granted.  The weather decides to be nicer to you specifically and pets you with an icy hand the size of a VW microbus.

I wish I had more money, without devaluing the currency.

I am curious if the characters are the same ones in the two manga series, which would make them really old operators.

It looked like they had the same names, but were fairly young.  I would call it a non-contiguous spinoff.

Blu-ray's out tomorrow here, I'll see if rewatching changes my impression of the movie.

I'm still irritated by the fast cuts during chase and fight scenes.  Let me see the actors and stunt men work dammit!

*Twitch!* Kill! *Twitch!* Kill! *Twitch!* Kill! *Twitch!* KILL!

The Auld Grump, who hopes his choice of language was not too ambiguous. Tongue

I'm going to go out on a limb here and suspect you are not in favor of the idea of more stooges movies and/or the casting.

This country was founded by Firebrands for the love of mud!

I would have said "religious fanatics with guns," but Firebrands too.

Of course the shipping costs will kill you. And we can't built weapons.

Of course not weapons.  A barrel here, a trigger assembly there...

How about the Hillberg Insurgency Weapons?

I want one of those shotguns.  Any idea where I can get the plans?  Who has a machine shop?

Granted.  The Auld Grump found robots to replace you.  Enjoy your time on the dole.

I wish I knew where to buy good Smithfield ham north of the Mason-Dixon line.
