They are like the Chance feats, some have obvious trees, others just get better because you have more Chance feats.

If there's two things I could get behind as mandatory U.S. Citizen experiences, they'd be 2 years in the military, and 1 year working some drastically crappy retail or service economy job.
I don't care much if suffering builds character; I think the real value is in cultivating empathy.

Would really be Freedom though, would it? Wink
Basic Training and a Christmas season, maybe two is enough.

If its only Basic Training, no USAF or CG.  Everyone goes to the Island.  And you can't wash out before week 3.  And if you wash out, you have to do a Christmas Season and TWO Black Fridays.
I've done 2 thanksgivings at grocery, 1 black friday/christmas at Best Buy, 3 Black Fridays/Christmas at Gamestop, and several call of duty midnight launches. What do I get?! Cheesy

My suguestion? Throw on some Lindsey Stirling! It will make everything right in the world.  And then picture the epic fights going on between spell bound mages like the scene in kung fu hustle where they spar, to epic violin + edm fusion music! >.> oh Sorry off topic.

You can do it Pat! ~cheers~

The same thing about Taunt and Threaten that would remove the hidden condition, that they are Attack actions, also makes them viable actions to take in response to a Taunt.

The response to a successful Taunt action could be the opponent taunting you back.  If both sides are being particularly successful at hurling taunts back and forth, the main combat could have an ongoing "Yo Mama" fight in the background.

Yo mama so stupid she thought jar jar came with pickles pickles!

Since I am new and can't start my own thread, I hope it is 'OK' to ask a beginner question here.  Grin

There are 'tricks' such as 'Falling Lightning' that substitute 'Skill (Attribute) bonus for your melee attack bonus'.  Does this mean you are using Skill Ranks + Attribute Mod in place of Base Attack Bonus + Attribute Mod?
Yep Smiley

Speaking of games.  A couple weeks ago I ran a session for my Sister, one of her friends, and my lady.  Then we ate chinese food and watched Dr. Who.  It went well. we are gonna do it again as soon as our schedules all Line Up.

Next Session will also introduce action dice to them, and hopefully get through more than 1 encounter >.> heh

Now play Starcraft II: Heart of the Swarm.

So good, so goooood...

Loving the supporting cast of Zerg henchmen.
Oh yes, so much good stuff.  I'm really looking forward to Episode 3.

Still not sure how to make the Koprulu sector a good tabletop RPG.  None of the factions play together enough.

There is some precendent with HotS
Spoilers!!!!

Also re Valve Games and Steam
Steam is 100% DRM too.  Go back and look up the hatred for it that spawned when Half Life 2 launched and Steam sucked balls.  Now its considered the model of how to do wallet violations.

You can not play a Valve game, with out steam installed.  You can however play the games off line.
