that's a bit unfortunate a I got the Core rulebook in Hardcover. But considering the core book is over 570 pages, unless said otherwise by any of the Crafty staff i will take it that this book is softcover.

Is this book a hard cover? or softcover?

The details do seem to indicate a Hardcover due to the size & using the terms 'perfect bound volume, presented in 6 x 9 format' but I have seen this size on the shelf as a softcover & depending upon the thickness of the volume could be 'bound' depending upon how it is put together.

Any official word from the Crafty staff? As all the information does not use the words hardcover or softcover.

Thanks in advance!!
4  Products / Mistborn Adventure Game / A Public THANKYOU!! on: October 07, 2012, 01:00:58 AM
I wish to put it up here a very big and public thankyou to Glacialis to these boards.

Not only did he attend Gen Con, hit up the Crafty booth, and get himself and others on the boards some very cool stuff. He also very graciously organised to have some of that stuff sent to Australia.

It has arrived safely and in very good condition, and i am slowly heading through the rulebook, & enjoying every minute.

Hope the footage gets online ASAP, so all of us that couldn't make it for geographical reasons can see the awesomeness of the game as run by the creators.

Hi Pat,

Thankyou for the answer. Wasn't looking to do it that way, but it is an option.
7  Products / Mistborn Adventure Game / Purchase of the Hardcover version without a Paypal account? on: December 21, 2011, 04:20:07 AM

I am wanting to support Crafty Games by purchase of the Hardcover version of the rulebook, but upon checking out the linked site i find it upon first glance that they only use Paypal for payment.

Problem is i don't have a Paypal account!

I will admit i haven't gone further than the first page because of this concern, but could anyone advise that has prepurchased the book through the Crafty website link, if there is other options for payment (ie Visa, etc) than just using a Paypal account?

Thankyou in advance for any responses.

Think I can beat those :

I'm in the Weat Midlands, so here goes.....

Bishops Itchington
9.8 miles

14.5 miles

Pestilence Lane
17.0 miles

Wyre Piddle
17.3 miles

Grimpits Lane
17.4 miles

Piddle Brook
17.6 miles

Lickey End
19.4 miles

Dogpool Lane
19.8 miles

Bell End
22.8 miles

23.8 miles

Oh, and the local kids in Bishops Itchington, scratched out the B to look like a H as well as the S in Bishops, so some of the locals now call it 'Hiphop Itchington'

Seems when the English ran out of names, they just tack on inner, outer, upper, or lower, to another village name in the area. Makes it very confusing to find some places!

Read the title, and thought "Schemer goes BOOM!" Grin Oh well. Good question.
