1  Products / Fantasy Craft / Re: My FC Questions? on: January 22, 2013, 06:58:32 AM
Edit: It appears I was wrong about rolled treasure... Yes, you only roll once for all the goblins. Doesn't matter if it's one mob or ten, as long as they share the same stat block you only roll once for them. Of course, if there is a significant number of enemies the party will get a bonus to the treasure roll.

True. though I still might roll for separate mobs, not sure yet. I mean, if there's one mob in 'room 1', and another mob in 'room 2', it makes sense that each mob gets a treasure roll.

It's really your call. You can decide what exactly "the encounter" means. The groups in room 1 and 2 might be two separate encounters or part of one larger encounter.
2  Products / Fantasy Craft / Wind Knight Question on: May 31, 2012, 02:58:31 PM
I'm having trouble interpreting the Wind Knight's 5th level ability Glory of the Wind. My two questions are:

1. Can it improve action dice beyond their maximum roll-able value?
2. If so, then if you roll say a 4 on a d4 action die and then Glory of the Wind improves it to a 10, does the action die still explode?

Technically about the Adventure Companion:

The Path of Purity under the Monk's 4th step ability lets you cast "Remove Curse II" 1/scene. That spell doesn't seem to be detailed in the corebook or the AC.

I don't want to sound terribly needy...but I'm terribly needy. Any news?

You're not out of line. This is late and we know it. We're working. No news yet. As soon as we have any, we'll post it to the blog.

I will strive to remain patient. Smiley

Though you can certainly stack multiple feats that have that caveat at the end and keep reducing attributes that way.

FC p112 - First Paragraph of Spellcasting (Varies)
Quote
Each caster may make only 1 Spellcasting
check per round and he must be able to speak aloud to do so.

...and I swear I have read that section 4 times. Thanks! >.<

Just a quick reference question. Double cast allows you to cast two spells in one round, the problem is, I can't seem to find the rule that prohibits you from doing this normally. Can anyone point me to it?

Cool thanks. Yah, I guess we are over thinking it. I and one other guy have some science/engineering background so we do go overboard a bit. Much to the other player's chagrin.
That was LOL Funny too, I want to see all those dark hunters annihilating the light guys.

Time to start coming up with alternate fictional particles! Particles that are AT WAR!

Not sure why light opposes darkness. Darkness is just an area where there is not light. It is usually used metaphorically with good and evil but the reverse of the metaphor is hardly accurate.

Think magic, not physics. Darkness is not the absence of light, but a force in its own right.
