Mr Crafty_Pat, have you received the softcover books from your printers yet? If yes, you could make it an anouncement on your front page... It would be neat to know!

After all, we're all anxious to have the books in our hands ;-P.

Really happy to know there's going to be a spreadsheet character maker...

My friends were spoiled with D&D4 and they take forever creating PC. This will reduce generation time!

Of course he meant Criminal Justice, as opposed to civil or contract court, but taking it out of context sure makes him seem like a mobster (or gangster, at least).

Yeah, I had read the whole discussion. Of course, being a "former-lurker" since the early days of spycraft 1 makes me believe everyone can read my comment as they are meant to (jokes).

Back to the OP, I don't believe it's as bad as some think it is (mostly on other forums). I've seen enough of "WotC takes over the intertubes" threads, I prefer to put my faith in some of the good employes there (Scott Rouse comes into mind).

WotC knows it has to have fansites in order to have the brand thrive.

Just one thing.  I won't debate legalities because my background is criminal

This. Is. A. Great. Quote.

I shall forever have a vision of you dressed as Al Capone.

Fully update adobe 8.1.
Windows Vista Premium 32bits SP2

Hard crash upon trying to view page 3... Can only view pages 1 and 2 normaly.

Foxit works though... I just hate it... I love the pdf though and I'd love it even more if Adobe could work.

I don't know about the PDF, but you can pre-order the book from Mongoose.
That's what I did with the World on Fire, and I got it way ahead of anyone.  Grin

You know what? I've preordered WoF and got 2 books... One from the UK and the other from the States... One of these books is still in it's shrink wrap...

Hey, Pat or any Crafty guys, just PM me if you'd like to get that book back. I'd send it back because I like your stuff guyz!

I know the guy is writing the 12th book of the Wheel of Time...

As a side note, I started reading Wheel of Time in 1990...  I felt like losing something when I learned that I'd never see the end of the novels.

Brandon to the rescue! I'm thrilled to know there will be an end to the series!

Lessee if google will help here...
Actually, Wiki to the rescue...

Always helps!

Okay, AMAZON to the rescue! *Gets credit card out of wallet*

Friday Eve: Seminar
Biggest announcements: Vow of Silence (which we have heard alluded to here before) and getting a novel license (I honestly forget the name; I haven't read it. It was a dark fantasy novel series.) There's more, I couldn't hope to summarize. Watch the you tube.

Yay for VoS but what's the novel license?!?

You forgot the thing that excites me the most! Possibilities:
- The Black Company (Glen Cook)
- A RiftWar / Midkemia setting (by Feist)
- The Farseer Trilogy (Margaret Astrid Lindholm Ogden AKA Robin Hobb)

Any other suggestions? Does it refreshes your memory, Psion???

Evil you Mr. Whitmore:

I made the trip to Ottawa (about 3h30 drive) to see a friend and to accidentaly stumble on a Birthright box he has. Of course, after my initial surprise I took it.

I swear I didn't know he had it stored in a box in the basement!  Wink

It seems my task is clear, then.

Step 1: Convert Birthright
Step 2: Post on Wiki
Step 3: Imagined Profit

There, there. Fixed it for you!  Wink

Dude, I adore Birthright Smiley. Go for it.

Me too. I now have a "quest" for you : Write us. No, write me a "Birthrighty" toolkit for the fantasy setting you're making.

I'll adore you! And I'll buy it!

Anyone care to give me details (beyond what's in the description page of PmP) of the product?

A "review" / "description" of what I'll get if I buy it would be great!
