Problem is that I don't have the time I used too when I was young to prepare small adventures, in order for me as a GM and my players to get used to the system. In another games, you have small but complete adventures in the manual. I know I could do almost anything, being a world so full of possibilities (Specially when you are the evil kind of GM... Cheesy ), but as I said, I would like to have something we can start playing while I design something more specific to my group. So I have read about "House of Ashes" (I cannot download in the web page) and "The Ninth House". Any idea about when will be those available?

Wait until you read the adventure creation section in Mistborn. It does not provide you with adventures but it does provide you with a great way for making your own adventures with the assistance of your players.

Mistborn contains one of the best group based scneario generators in the hobby. You effectively sit down with your players, pitch a general idea and then listen to what they want to do and what they think might happen. This feeds into a process which practically spits an adventure out at you, with the added bonus of being tailor made to the PCs.

If scenario books aren't being made then is the idea to just use the core book to write your own adventures? Personally as a first time GM that scares the crap outta me!

Ah. Interesting.

You used to be able to buy them. Libraries however buy them in massive rolls that they can then tailor to any size book perfectly.

I figured it was a protective cover of some kind but the library thing threw me.

My local library covers dustjackets for a nominal cost. Its not that easy to buy mylar jackets here in New Zealand for some reason.

Ive been away for a week, but apparently the book came last friday, which for shipping from the States to Norway is pretty damn impressive. The package was in remarkably good shape too, so the book is completely pristine. All in all, the shipping gets two thumbs up from me. Now, to find the time to sit down and actually read this awesome-looking book...

Mine was in great shape too. I will of course be getting the dust jacket covered by my local library Smiley

Well it took less than 4 days to get here to NZ, WOW!

It was shipped 23 July so that makes it 6 days, 2 of which were the weekend. Nice.

That explains it. International shipping is sloooow. Ask anyone printing in China. (It's one of the reasons we don't.)

No need, just ask anyone living overseas. First Class International is normally 2 weeks though.

Picked up a hardcover today at Black Diamond Games, en route from lunch.

Lucky. I preordered in December 2011 and I am still waiting for mine. Sad

I read the books with a combination of Tron Legacy soundtrack, Texhnolyze soundtrack, Casshern soundtrack, The Fountain soundtrack and Hybrid's Break My Soul (instrumental). I can no longer seperate them in my mind.
