A fun feat inspired by the Assassin's Creed III DLC Tyranny of George Washington.  Other similar feats based upon the Northern Crown setting (predating the DLC) can be found HERE

Eagle Heritage
You have inherited the powers of an eagle ancestor from the Uncounted Times.  Eagles are said to be long-lived, possessing great strength, and majestic in flight.
Prerequisites: Human (First Ones Culture), Level 1 only
Benefits:  The higher of your Dexterity or Wisdom score rises by 1 and you gain Improved Sense (visual) and Superior Jumper I.  When taking the Basic Skill Mastery feat you have access to a new pair: Eagle: (Acrobatics & Notice)

   Eagle Legacy
Your ancestry's eagle influence manifests fully in you.
Benefits:  The lower of your Dexterity or Wisdom scores rises by 1 and you gain Superior Jumper II and Always Ready.
You may choose to embrace your eagle ancestory once, when you level, and grow feathered wings - gaining winged flight 60ft.  If you do your starting action dice decrease by 1 and you become easier to spot unless trying to hide, suffering a -5 penalty with Blend checks.

Helpful insight, suggestions are welcomed as always.

Still very much alive.

Although I was rather hoping that Washington DC would get shaken like an Etch-A-Sketch until the corruption is gone.

AND RFK stadium implodes allowing DC United to FINALLY build a stadium of their own.

My apologies as this won't mean much to the majority of you ... meaning everyone but me.
6  Community / Off-Topic / Re: The Idiot Box: TV Season 2012/2013 on: September 28, 2012, 02:09:03 PM

I can attest, however, that Sons of Anarchy is one of the finest pieces of television ever to hit our screens, and that everyone who appreciates TV on any level should be watching that show (except perhaps for those with a sensitivity to adult themes, in which case you should probably stay away).

If there was a "Like" button I would be pushing it.  It is an extremely well written show ... and it seems like ALL the characters have grown and developed as the seasons have progressed whereas in many shows on television now the minor characters get stuck in their minor roles with little or now developement so that you wouldn't care (nor even perhaps notice) if they were replaced.  In SoA ... everyone's got their problems and it's made each character interesting and unique while not detracting from the main plot and characters.

The Girandoni repeating rifle is pretty mundane, until you find out they were built in the late 1700s.

Thanks for posting that link.  Very interesting and the book referenced is an absolute must read.

Now, Covert Affairs is on fire this season. Anyone into quality espionage storytelling or fine character drama needs to be watching the show this year.

Where's a "Like" button when you need it  Grin

Good afternoon.  Was just wondering if this was still in the works and if you were still taking on new players?  I'd very much like to join in if there is an opening.

Thanks,

Sunhaser is set up to absorb new character options very easily, so giants can be introduced as player characters or a one-off threat as easily as saying "And then one stumbles out of a sunpool." They are not intended as a sustained threat or pressence in the setting - partially to differentiate it from the norse-inspired Godspawn. If you did want to add them on a full-time basis I would sugest small communities high in the Rainwall mountains.

Just a quick question regarding the AWESOMENESS that is Sunchaser.  These Rainwall Mountains you reference.  I have been unable to find them in the Sunchaser chapter nor the map.  My assumption is they are located in the Brenne-Stones since that seems to be where the fey/elementals reside and Giants to me have always been "elemental".  An "official" clarification though would be great though  Smiley

Has anyone seen the new Conan movie?  The trailers have looked so good yet it is getting KILLED in the reviews.

Is it worth the price of admission or is one better off waiting for the DVD?

Thanks,

Downloaded it this morning. If I can get Vista to run it, i'll be on later today.

I'm thinking a Human Captain on Silverlode. Suggestions?

If you're looking to do any sort of roleplaying I'd recommend the Landroval server.

Dialing back the "Wayback Machine" ...

Is this list still current and are there any others currently playing?  I only ask because I have recently got into it (my infant daughters, not so infant anymore and they opened it free to play).  Just curious if this list has grown and if there was a "Crafty" kinship of sorts.
