1  Products / Spycraft Third Edition / Re: what brought you into spycraft on: June 29, 2014, 07:58:24 PM
Way back when, I played the old Top Secret and the Top Secret S/I rpg. After them there was no real Espionage rpg until Spycraft came along. I still have fond thoughts of the 60's book for SC1.

:)I've searched the thread but I cannot seem to find a couple of weapons, so lets try to get this moving again.
Has anyone stated the MG21, or the new Mk48 Machinegun that was just deployed to the sand box?

The 98 Bravo is a bolt action rifle.  I did some checking, standard from what I understand is 6 magazines for military/government contract. 2 mags for civilians from what I read in one of their publications. So I'm kind of leaning with the 10M10 option, though that is alot of weight 13.5 for the rifle sans optics, and I'd guess a pound and a half per loaded magazine since a loaded M14 magazine is supposedly around 1.8 pounds.

  Good enough then, thanks.

I think 10M50 is a little much isn't it? 50 ten round magazines, shouldn't be more like 10M5 or 10M10??

By the way thanks for the quick reply, I'm thinking of giving that thing to a Sniper in a game I'm running.

Has anyone noted or stated this new beauty?

Barrett's new .338 sniper rifle.  Cheesy

I would have to say that Krensky's is on target with his post.

While I like the Spycraft 2nd ed 2nd printing and WOF classes, I much prefer the SFA setting in general though I kind of tone down the psychic/magic angle. For me WOF just 'feels' wrong for my style of play, though as I said I do like the classes and charater options provided.

Reese swipes the card as does Mitchell, inside the lockers are sets of body armor,  reletively light with camouflaged segmented plates over a flexible fabric, various pouches are affixed to teh armor, also in th elockers are helmets with integrated comms gear and partial face shields. Both Reese and Mitchell seem to know the gear since without conscious thought they find themselves checking the gear and they 'know' that it is as it should be.  After donning the gear Mitchell moves over to a weapons rack and picks up one of the weapons quickly striping it he checks for any problems, he does not know how he knows but he suspects that the actions are partially muscle memory, or perhaps the memories are there but just blocked somehow from conscious thought.  Finding the ammo stores he loads the pouoches with munitions for his rifle/gernade launcher combo.  Nodding to Reese he says, "Now I feel better!" as he slams a round home into the weapons breach.

I'm having a fight with my doctors since they have me on HIGH blood pressure medicine and my blood presure is DROPPING very LOW.  Huh? Abd they insist that I need the medicine Huh?  I've decided to drop the BP medicines for a few days and see what happens Cool Cool

I'm not sure why the question keeps popping up but YES we are.  I had another episode with my blood pressure the other day and am still recorering but the game is going on, I'll have something posted in a day or two, it sometimes takes a couple of days to recover from certain issues.

Reese makes the entry followed by Mitchell, the room is quickly cleared the thought passes through Mitchells head that no matter they had to follow the book by the numbers no slackin gor geting lazy, though he still had no memories he felt more confident with himself.   the rest of the group also entered once the room was cleared, the room was large enough for all of them to move around comfortably. Mitchell, Buck, Reese and Davis quickly evaluate what the room holds. Several Racks of weapons, here MRC-3's, there G21 Squad automatic weapons,  there are about a dozen lockers, ten of them card locked and with bright red numbers stenciled on the door. Buck and Davis first notice that the numbers on the cards they found in their rooms have numbers and a qucik check shows that two of the lockers match the numbers on their cards.
