The example I wrote for Spellbound Chapter 3 is called Demonology, which in a hypothetical campaign world ties outsiders to the source of magic. Thus, it gets the Calling Discipline (summon Outsiders), but also 2 new subthemes - Arcanuum (raw magical power) and Damnation (magic which corrupts mind, body, or spirit). Summoning is an important trapping, but the subthemes add depth and tie the School back to the central themes of the campaign world. *girlish squee!* +1!

Can't wait for the hardcover unboxong.... and arriving! No need to rush with my hard cover, they take forever to get to NZ anyway, so you have my official permission to leave mine til last! Probably not Wolverine's though, he might not be as relaxed Oh we know. We're already in fear for our lives. Well it took less than 4 days to get here to NZ, WOW!

16. Having tools that let you determine what the mood/tone of your fantasy game is. 17. Having a handy mechanic to allow people to not die via bullshit deaths, just cause one shlub got a good hit in.
17. Addendum: unless you want that sort of grim and gritty combat, see point 16!

Products / Fantasy Craft / Re: damage reduction

Can we have the reasoning that thick hide doesn't stack with armour? Is it for a 'in game world' reason (Which I can't see, having thick skin under your chain mail will help reduce damage IMO) or is it just balance to stop it getting out of hand? I have always wondered when I read the description, if you don't mind satisfying my curiosity Thanks
