Because KS crashed under load they are opening it to folks that didn't pledge as well - from their KS update: Reaper will have a post KS pledge manager website! Update #57 · Aug. 25, 2012 · 71 comments
Thanks to all of you that backed our project! It was absolutely amazing!
Using our post Kickstarter Pledge Manager website (if you pledged you will get a link in you backer survey e-mail later) you can make additions and adjustments (you can't lower your pledge).
We will also post the link as an update to our Kickstarter. It may be two weeks from now so keep checking. We have to get and then assimilate the Kickstarter data.
You can sign up there. You can also use pay-pal too.
If you are signing up new and you don't select the Vampire or Undertaker Level you will have to pay more for options then what they were originally listed at, but they will be available to you. If you did pledge and you didn't pledge Vampire or Undertaker or don't upgrade to one, the same applies.
More details to come later!
If this does not answer you question, please send another message to us in a day or two as we are going to sleep now! So, a bit more time and a few more paychecks, but no new Bones being added to the pile. Sounds fair to me! The Auld Grump So, those of us who didn't have a chance to pledge yet... will have some option at the KS pledge levels / rewards?

If your universe is like the Dresden Files, it likely wouldn't be good for the boiler (in addition to the Mage's potentially water-damaged goods).
It's mentioned that in Ye Olden Days, >mana static< would cause milk to curdle and the like, and that it changes (with each Age?) to more modern items.

Is it too much to hope for a more ... theatrical ... release?
Thomas Jane nailed the role for me.
If he and Ron Perlman want to continue this, I'd watch it. Premium Cable TV series might be better than theatrical for the stories that could be told.
Unless... he's interacting with the movies. Had a real thing against Spiders, if I recall.

Terranova, while okay (good for scifi lovers) could have been so much more awesome if the family wasn't so glossy. I don't remember where I heard it, but here goes...
A father, suffering emotional trauma from terrible prison conditions. A teenage boy who despises his father, and rebels against him. A young girl, withdrawn after a long time as a ward of the state.
But... we have to have things wrap up nicely, with a rose-colored glasses family to bookend each episode.

The edge master intrigues me
It did me too. If you think the Hidden Promise approach is the way to go, another avenue to getting both feats would be Soldier 1/Burglar 3. I'd forgotten the -4+2 trick. I'll use that, and build her as Martial Artist for better effect. At this point, I'm totally cheating: Blade Touched
I really don't feel like cheating this way, since custom-designed Specialties bring much more to use than existing specialties do to most other builds. I've got her build as far as I'm probably going to take her. At this point, she's a character I'd be happy to play. (The only thing that bothers me is Lumbering.) Mithril-Flower, 6th petal Unborn Fencer Martial Artist 4, Edgemaster 4
Str 12 Dex 14 Con 12 Int 12 Wis 16 Cha 13
Achilles Heel (fire) Lumbering Speed 30' Improved Unarmed Reach Discipline of the Spirit Decisive: +5 Initiative Enlightened Acrobatics Carve Display of Arms I 1,000 Blades Study the Stance
spec Fencing Basics 1st Special Construction: Flesh 3rd All-Out Attack 6th Fluid Style
MA1 Martial Artist (Wis) MA3 Wrestling Basics Ed3 Fencing Mastery (from 1,000 Blades)
Origin Skills: Prestidigitation, Medicine
Forearm Blades: 2x Superior Cutlass (maybe Orc-Craft, if Fencing Mastery still lets you change damage to stress.)
Proficiencies and Tricks: Edged Forte, Unarmed Forte, Shove trick, Parry trick, Cheap Shot trick, +3 prof/tricks

The edge master intrigues me
It did me too. Edgemaster. I'll give her an eye over.
Species: Unborn. She's obviously stitched.
Specialty: Fencer. Due to the deliberate foot positioning and obvious arm-blades. Others I considered were Fist, Acrobat, and Adept, but Fencer seemed to be more iconic to both the art and the class.
Feats: There's a special issue to address: To fit with the art, she needs Special Construction: Flesh. To keep the attributes from being askew past the assumptions, Hidden Promise is needed. This leaves BOTH required feats to be fufilled by class.
Class: Soldier. It's the only one which lets the feats fit, given the requirements. Would have loved to give Martial Artist instead, assuming we're using the Adventure Companion in these builds.
Str 14 Dex 14+2=16 Con 12 Int 12 Wis 12 Cha 14-4=10+2=12+1=13+1=14
4th/8th level bumps for Cha.
spec Fencing Basics 1st Special Construction: Flesh 3rd Hidden Promise
Sol 1 All-Out Attack Sol 3 Wrestling Basics
6th Fencing Mastery
I could let Fencing Mastery be a permanent choice for 1,000 Blades, freeing up the 6th level feat for Fluid Style (as she has 2 stances to use)
It really bugs me about the Soldier 4th level not really applying, since she doesn't wear armor. I guess I guess the pants can count as padded. And, if we're doing that, upgrades are cheap, so at least Fireproofed.
And the forearm blades, since we're going with Fencing, I'm going to call them Cutlasses.
Proficiencies and Tricks: Edged Forte, Unarmed Prof, Shove trick, definitely.

Products / Fantasy Craft / Fortune's Fool Errata Discussion
|

Also keep in mind that not all feats are created equal. If they were, it wouldn't really be important to have more than one. The problem is, there is a big difference between a feat not being created equally and a feat being obviously and totally inferior to another. Fortune's Fool still requires action by another player (in this case the GM) to give you what Fortunate just gives you for free and Fortune's Fool adds nothing to make up for that added disadvantage. The thing is - if Fortune's Fool discourages the GM from spending action dice against you, without limit, that's a pretty big "soft" benefit, too. Fortunate is a great feat - one of the best chance feats - and holding every single other chance feat up to it is not really fair (to those feats, at least). If the problem with Fortune's Fool is that the player does not have absolute control of it, all the time (which is the main argument I'm hearing here), then it simply shouldn't exist at all. That sort of decision makes me sad, as it removes a whole host of play options from the table that I think are interesting but may simply not be "powerful enough" to make muster in players's eyes. I, for one, am estatic for the errataed Fortune's Fool. Besides being another Chance feat, it helps put an edge to a character over the GM. I'm looking forward to taking it with my Action Die exploiter, at least.

You guys rock!
If it means a little delay, and lets face it, a month or two is small compared with when the project started back in 2.0, so be it. Especially if it means the product will be polished to a bright and sparkling shine.
Looking forward to the preview glimpses, and the PDF when it's ready.

Thanks for the responses and welcomes, everyone. I wanted to point out that I wasn't comparing Fortunate to FFtB or LLS, which are obviously completely different, but rather Fortune's Fool, which is comparable to (and, as far as I can tell, strictly worse than) Fortunate.
My apologies for missing the additional concern in your post. Looking at Fortunate vs. Fortune's Fool I can see the concern. I have a couple questions for the gallery... 1. Who's taken Fortune's Fool so far? Of those who answer yes, who's taking it for the added benefit it provides as a Chance feat vs. its stated benefit? As one who has built a couple of Chance Feat abusers, I have not had one where Fortune's Fool fit. If I got to the point where I was out of other Chance Feats, it would likely have been taken for the sheer benefit as "another Chance Feat." 2. Of those of you not taking it, who would consider it if "critical failure" were swapped to "error"?
Thanks!
I would be more likely to take it with that change. Yes.
