{Swarm}

If our superiors didn't let it slip we should have a rooms at a local motel.  One of the Vehicles should have the reservation packet in it.

(early security pick was level 1 hotel reservation)

We c an set up there and then see about setting up a rerouted network as well for you guys to work through.

Also if you get a chance check to see what is up and down the coast here, current wise we may be able to use that as another back door.

Swarm

Well there are 3 vehicles.  Should be fairly easy for you to claim one.  ::smirks::  Also the blue tooths should be in one of them make sure you all grab one.
I would suggest that one small team take a drive by the general area, and the rest of us hit the motel and set up shop.  Finish up the new id's and see what info we can pick up locally.

603 is the old hospital, a large building right across the street to the east of the target building, but your "history of the base" packet says it closed some time ago.

Do they keep goats in here?

Scene 1 is kicked off, in case anyone missed it.

I use a "scorecard" to keep track of action dice rewards during the game. If anyone notices an action dice useage that got missed, let me know.

As mentioned, Quicklift/SWARM is awarded an AD during intel phase for taking the initiative putting a gear list together.

I'll award WEBWORM an AD for being the sole poster yesterday.

Action Dice Scorecard
EXCALIBUR: 3+0-0=3
LORELEI: 3+0-0=3
MUNIN: 3+0-0=3
SWARM: 3+1-0=4
VIENNA: 3+0-0=3
WEBWORM: 3+1-0=4
GC: 8+2-0=10

My talent gives me a bonus action die as well.

In flight actions -

1.  Who was going to do the Forgery checks for the back up ids For those of us going in. PR2 should be doable.  (we have the kits and it can be worked on in teams.) we may have to finish on land as we head to the super 8 we have.

as i get a (+1 Synergy bonus from coop and directed skills) this may be useful for me to have a partner or be the partner on one of the ids

2.  in regards to  the map... As I am an engineer and my laptop is loaded with cad pr 2 engineering software and my intrest is in building things and etc.

I would like to make a research roll to determine the floor plan that would have been used for the current size and shape of the building.

let me know what roll I should make here please.

3.  Where is the medical bay on the map in relation to the points of main intrest?

I know going in we want to forge at least 2 pr2 cover id's in the time frame we have.

Right now I suggested that you support our hackers on the outside, with your pointman ability to boost die rolls of agents you see, you would be greatly assiting the outside efforts.

You would also be able to get a point of view advantage to support us as we enetered the complex supporting any bluff/impress checks that Loreli would need.

But if you feel that you would be better on the inside, supporting Lorlie directy then we can switch you and our Lawman. I left that option open in case.

This is only the first scene in the story, I'm pretty sure based on a hint previously that the other shoe is going to drop.

To we may have the three of you act as mp's here to pick up a prisoner for fort lebanworth or drop one off.  IF that is the case we can swap you and the lawman.  That might work even better for extraditing one of us if we get captured.

(i don't know what a lawman is capable of is the only problem)

I agree, I actually had thought to ask that as well.  I started to keep a notepas open for myself but posting names would be much easier.  Smiley

That is why I think we should look at this mission as a test for us, rather than a test for the Base.  We need to see if we can mesh as a unit.

Each of us is very competent in out fields of expertise and may be used to working on our own.  Now we have to play Basketball with other people just as good as we are.  This is a whole new situation for us to overcome.

Depending on how Webworm feels it may be better for you two to switch.

Lorelie you definitely need to be in charge for planning and leading the inside assault.

Munin and Viena should definitely be our eye in the sky they can also see what remote access they can gain and possibly see what havoc they can cause with the HVAC, power grid or security systems of the area.  Also this leaves Vienna setup to be a get away driver for us as well.

I myself am trained as a doctor, engineer and security task force trainer and have been considered a young schemer at heart.  I can assist on the ground as well or from outside.  From inside I can also be a low level recruit assigned to the medical team.

Excalibur besides blowing buildings up, what other skills do you have would you be better as backup or on the inside.  And Webworm where would you best see yourself working and what areas of expertise do you have and how would you add that to the following scenario?

This is a scenario that I propose we can use, that meshes with what Lorelie has suggested and should allow options for changes in the plan:

On the inside it may be best to go with Lorelie's approach and have someone with her as an assistant.  (1 cover id needed) Who can run distractions.

For whatever reason after say 6 hours you could request that you need access to a file that may be considered secure getting you to the target building. Some information that our hackers will discover that would be related to your cover and would be included in the section that we need.

Because of the location you would have an arm guard escort.  You and your assistant will need to waylay your shadow.  Once unconscious he may require medical attention for an unknown illness. (tradecraft Poison, Weapon stun glove) Which after you photop the info and being a concerned citizen you would take or send him to the infirmiry.

Of course you would be under suspicion at this point you alone in a locked room with a guard who happened to fall.  And the security cameras again hacked or controlled by us showing that you did nothing untoward in fact are there with your own file in hand.  But you cant have the evidence on you so the best way to get it out would be the same way you came in.  Maintin your cover.  You would conceal on your shadow's uniform the hard data file of the info. (disguised gadget,  pack of cigarettes/business card and memory card).

The unconscious guard would be taken to medical where I (cover id) would have the opportunity to retrieve the data and walk out with it later.

Variables at the moment deal with the dogs, but if the above scenario works we will not have to deal with them.  This splits us into 2 teams, gets you close to the data and ways for us to clear the base.  It also leaves backup for us outside that may help us to complete the mission or develop alternatives as we need them.

Critiques?

Then what could happen based on what the GC was mentioing earlier about making an improve fabrication or super science roll to remove the gadget from one housing to another housing.

"Ie -  remove the components from a lipstick tube and then placing it in a control panel."

From working in internet, and knowing what our NOC monitors, to common concerns if security systems work with broadband connections and that remote monitoring companies can log into a network remotely and activate/deactivate systems.  It is possible that they may have a security team/program monitoring it.

I also have done work with HVAC monitoring systems as well, which also links into fire alarms.  So my real world knowledge would suggest that such systems would exist. (but then again i might have seen the exceptions to the rule.)
