1  Legacy Games / Spycraft 2.0 / Re: Saturday Morning Spycraft on: November 18, 2014, 02:15:14 PM
I hereby give you permission to e-mail me when updating a product, even when simultaneously releasing a new one.

Thanks.  Cool

I can't download the new version of Transmechs either.

Cool. Be sure to check Spookbusters. I haven't bought that one yet. (Now that line is done I need something to look forward to.)

I do indeed really like the product. I'm not sure I'll ever convince my players to try it but I'm very amused.

So I guess we are never going to get the full Lawman or Thug class for 2.0, right? A pity, they are referenced in the Stone Sentinels book.

I'm surprised that nobody is talking about the last two Spycraft 2.0 releases. I just bought Stone Sentinels. I like it. I wish it had a sidebar or two on tips on how to integrate the Gargoyles into Fantasy Craft. Although it wouldn't be too hard to adjust.

I've only skimmed it so far but there appears to be just one feat for the Disney Gargoyle style turn to stone in daylight thing (and it doesn't quite work that way anyway). It's probably a fairly easy thing to house rule. Petrified in Daylight and complete restoration of vitality and wounds (although not critical injuries) at sunset.

All in all it is pretty rules heavy but Spycraft has always had pretty detailed but well written rules.

I'll likely pick up the other final release, a Ghost Busters pastiche next week.

I'm sad to see the end of the line but at least the release looked at maintains the high quality we've come to expect for Fantasy Craft.

Any other thoughts?
6  Products / Mistborn Adventure Game / Re: Alloy is out! on: August 07, 2014, 05:46:40 PM
I plan on getting this soon. I've been looking forward to this since before the main book came out.

The Mists still exist in the Alloy of Law time period but they are more rare.

Wax even wears a "Mist Coat" which is like a trench-coat Mist Cloak hybrid.

Has anyone bought this yet? I'm curious to hear what's in the PDF.
8  Products / Fantasy Craft / Re: Spellbound Update: Is that the finish line? Way over there? on: July 27, 2012, 12:24:06 PM
Hey, I'm eight days from my anniversary of actually buying the book....

Can have a preview for this weekend? With all the talk of the new editions of Exalted and D&D and such I want a reminder of Fantasy Craft's awesomeness. Just a spell would do. I've already bought the book, I just want a little taste....

How about another preview before Christmas? I'm a little disappointed in how long the preorder is taking but another class preview might help....
11  Products / Fantasy Craft / Re: Spellbound Pre-Order Details on: August 04, 2011, 10:45:32 AM
Pre-ordered, read the preview and already want more. Ah well.

It looks like you can use the classes right now (although the limited spell lists will be a difficulty until the full book is available).

So does this mean Spellbound will have the Fantasy Craft trade dress or will it have a more generic Master Craft trade dress (making it more obviously forward compatible with Spycraft 3.0 and 10KB)?

Sorry, I had to put this project on the back burner. It's gotten to be if I don't work on one game I don't work on any any at all and the Dresden Files RPG won. Sad

I hope to run or play Fantasy Craft again someday soon.

I've been refreshing, too. Some of us Crafty fanboys can go OCD in a week like this.

I can't wait to start waiting obsessively for Spellbound!

(Checks to see if the PDF has been released.)

Darn it!

(Refreshes page)

Darn it!

Wink

Damn!  You made me look.

Glad to know I'm not alone.  Smiley
