This is good work. Now if someone else more creative than I could work up equivalent Trek rules for the personal scale side of Star Trek I could run that Mastercraft Prime Directive game that's been tickling at the back of my brain with no escape in sight!
...I am. Fantastic! I've been really wanting to run a Prime Directive game ever since I picked up the D20 modern version of the rules on the cheap. I loved the concept behind the game, PCs as members of a Prime Team, but really wanted to try and run it using the mastercraft rules instead. Now my absolute crap ability at rules crafting is no longer holding me back from making that happen. Thanks.

You could always get a PDF copy. Oh, wait....
Due to some weird wording in their licensing agreements, even prior to WOTC's public breakup with the electronic market, Lucas licensing wouldn't allow WOTC to sell PDFs of any of their Star Wars material. I remember reading that the hang up was that PDFs were somehow too close to video games. The free PDF supplements and samples they offer is as close as WOTC was ever going to get, and they had to fight for those.

Considering that the PS3 is my only gaming rig, I probably should be ecstatic that there are even that many interesting games coming up (and I'm probably forgetting some).
On a complete tangent and as a fellow PS3 owner, have you played Valkyria Chronicles? I can't sing the praises of that game enough.

I have to admit that the latest episode of Terminator was the first show in a long time that had me staring at my TV in stunned silence for at least a minute straight. The death of Derek Reese was just so sudden and shocking, for me at least.

I know he's being played by Ryan Reynolds, but something occurs during the film and he turns into the pasty mutant with the Baraka arm blades. Good call on the Spoiler tag. My bad. Edit while still writing post: Thanks Mister Anderson, I was gonna link to some pics myself.

No. Was it recent?
They aired about a month ago, round the 9th. It was a two episode preview of the upcoming Xtacles spin off series. Operation: Mountain Punch and Operation: Murderous Conclusions.

All those + Mad Men, Breaking Bad, Nip/Tuck, In Plain Sight, Sons of Anarchy, Venture Brothers, Robot Chicken, Frisky Dingo, the list goes on and on...
Did you catch the Xtacles special? The second episode had me in tears I was laughing so hard. Is anyone still watching Sons of Anarchy? I gave up around Episode 7 or so...
I completely groove on that show and watching it just makes the wait to 10KB even harder.

So much weird and wacky movie news today... Good trailer for (what can only be) a bad movie: Friday the 13thI don't know. It's directed by Marcus Nispel who directed the remake of Texas Chainsaw Massacre. A movie I ended up loving despite all the reservations that come with seeing a remake of a classic. It was bleak and violent in all the right ways and R. Lee Ermey stole the show with an amazing performance. So I'm going to give the Friday remake a chance, a reboot that brings back a more real, and scary fast, Jason couldn't hurt the series anyway.
