She has however ditched some of the less practical of fashions, her hair is growing out after a lifetime hidden beneath wigs and is currently in a sharp angled bob, her clothes are much less restrictive than the decedant Taladean gowns, consisting of simple (though well embroidered) knee length skirt and corsetted blouse.

Background
Eloise is a the youngest daughter of a Taldan noble family, groomed from a young age to increase the families power base Eloise embraced her life. She'd been promised to Lord Erethein Rivalis, a noble who's authority stemmed mostly from being a distant cousin of the Taldorian royal family.
However she was somewhat forlorn to find her future husband in the arms of another on their wedding day and ran fleeing in tears from from Taldor.
Hitching a ride with one of her families trade caravans to distant Varisia, Eloise has had plenty of time to mope and muse on the way, as well as home some of her the skills she's taken little interest in before.
Attitude
Eloise is still hurting, while many may revile the idea of arranged marriages Eloise was schooled to accept it from a young age, all she wanted was to grow up and live like a noble.
At the moment she her pride is stung and her trust severely battered, and she's on a knife edge, part of her wants to destroy her betrothed in any way she can, while the other just wants to move and make a new life for herself.
Despite her newfound bitter streak, a lifetime of being trained for court lets her slip on a mask of sweetness and light, which she hides behind.
Eloise still pays token devotion to Shelyn, and spends her free time creating braids or embroidering clothes out of devotional habit.
