Mistborn Adventure Game: Sample Heroes and Digital Release Update

You may have noticed that we haven’t posted all that many previews for the forthcoming Mitsborn Adventure Game, especially in the last week. There’s a reason for that, and it’s tied up in some technical difficulties we’ve had with prepping the digital release. Without going into a lot of tedious detail, the many new things we’re attempting with this product have provn considerably more complex than originally estimated, and have consumed much more of our time than originally expected.

As much as it pains us to admit it to ourselves, they’re also going to make the November 8 release impossible. We won’t miss it by much, but we’re going to give ourselves a small window to solve the last of the issues we’re facing — a little more time than we may need, to be honest, but we think it’s better to be safe than sorry.

The Mistborn Adventure Game digital release will now hit December 15. We apologize for the delay and any inconvenience this causes, and hope to see you in two weeks when we open up a whole new way to enter the Final Empire.

Part of why we’re giving ourselves a little more time than we need is so we can be sure to get those previews out a little more regularly. We won’t be posting stuff every single day, but you can expect something at least every couple/few days, and we’re kicking off with our most exciting new preview to date: the sample characters featured in Book 2, which are play-ready and feature gorgeous full-body art from Mistborn concept artist Ben McSweeney. You can also grab a copy from our webstore over at DriveThruRPG.

Thanks again, and stay Crafty!
